    It's been crazy. So much snow. She is tucked away until Spring. All the resorts are open. We got more snow today and will get more next week.

    It was a good thing we got out when we did. The fire came right up to the end of our street today. I never really thought it would reach us. Boy was I wrong. One of two fires that have gone all the way across the Sierras. The orange square on the attached is a hot spot at the end of our street. The red dot I added is our house. It is FAR from over but the main push went right by our house and its headed Northeast towards the Heavenly ski resort. Once again, thank you very much to those that reached out with offers of help storing my car away from this terrible event. Stuart

    All - I want to thank everyone for the help. I got calls from several members with offers to store my car. Thank you very much. I moved her to a safe place yesterday. Better safe than sorry. We filled up our other two cars and got out just in case. There are no evacuation orders yet for SLT but I had very large pieces of burnt leaves land on my lawn the other day and that was all I needed to see. If it reaches Echo Summit, our area will be evacuated. Stuart

    Its getting very bad up here. With possible evacuations coming for South Lake Tahoe, I need to get my car out of here very soon so we have a 1 to 1 car to driver ratio just in case. A few years back I hosted a drive around the lake and a few guys came up from the Genoa/Casron City area. I'd like to get in touch with them or someone else in the area in hopes of finding a place for my 2002 until this passes. Any help or contacts would be appreciated.     A blue 72 rolled down my street here in South Lake Tahoe. It looked like it had a roof rack. Could not catch it before it drove away. Anyone on this board? Thanks

    The Agave spends her summers here in Tahoe. Wooden skis, cable bindings, and poles with leather grips and baskets. I heard tell if a water heater coming home from home depo strapped to a rack like this one.
