I goofed this year. 

 

My CCA membership lapsed, and on the last day to sign up for Legends, I found out that you have to re-up on the cca membership before you can apply for Legends.

 

Well, I never got the CCA confirmation email with the updated ID number, to allow me to sign up and pay for Legends, so I'm not currently in.

 

Did you buy a ticket with corral parking and won't be able to make it? I'll buy your ticket! Ideally it will be for a 2002, since I'm bringing the 1600 this year.

 

 

If you have a ticket, I'll buy it!

Disregard the first post.

 

Paul Cain called me this morning and said that getting another ticket is virtually impossible, as current attendance numbers for Legends is bursting at the seams. He suggested I post here hoping someone had one, as I've done so.

 

 

Cue to 4 minutes ago. Paul calls again, but this time with good news. He managed to find me a ticket, like only he could. I often wonder how deep his resources in the BMW world go, but I also don't think I want to know the answer.

Odds are you are getting my ticket (don't know that to be a fact but based on the calls that were made this afternoon, its a pretty good chance), I let the folks at BMW CCA know that I wouldn't be making it with car this year.  I will still be there without car unfortunately.  This is what it looked like last week 8/5.  With so many people wanting to go, I figured my loss could be someone else's gain.  Cheers.

That would be a trick, suspension is in it, unfortunately the chassis is bolted to this.....would be a tough tow.  Hopefully you still have some F-Bomb stickers, i would like to get one for my collection.  Look forward to meeting you at LOTA.  Your car is one of my all time favorites for sure.

Hi Ryan... I see that you already got a ticket but just a question. Were you looking for a ticket to show a car or just to get into the event? I'm assuming that anyone (CCA Member or not) can simply buy a ticket at the event just to walk around and ogle, no? Please advise as I want to make sure I've been giving non-02 buddies the right info! Thanks,

You pay $20 to park and you can ogle to your hearts content, no "entry" fee other than the parking fee.  Unless you have a pass already or find one from some poor sucker like me, no dice at this point bring your car onto/into the display areas.
