Why waste your time with an alarm or some kill switch, etc. If the thief wants the car they're going to take it. Just get a good collector car insurance policy and you should be set.

+1. A toggle switch for the ignition or fuel pump are good ideas.

Possibly better: Park next to or near a '90's Honda - preferably one with a VTEC engine. That vehicle will be the target.

I did the points-coil wire thing. Rather than put a switch in series, one side of the switch goes to the points-coil wire, the other side of the switch goes to ground. Thus when the switch is "on" the points are grounded.

What about Lojack? They have a number of features like calling your cell if the car moves, etc.

i like my iPhone own app that pages me "silent" when preshock sensor goes on.

its an modified proto Directed/Python remote start combo.

You can get such silent page on most of theirs systems if the installer does it right.

then you can walk by with a bfh and meet the stealer.
