Anyone know is this piece is going to be impossible to find? I only need the shift surround, not the AC console. Will also post in Parts wanted

i have a 73 tii but it doesn't look anything like your pic... although it is a non A/C console.

I have that one in my car, my problem is that I can't find a shifter boot that will attach to it. Any ideas?

It took me about 4-5 years of on-off looking to find the right one. Finally got one complete with a shift boot off ebay last year. I forgot what I paid but I knew I wasn't going to lose the auction, ha. Not sure if the surrounds are interchangeable as there are different style consoles.

console face that looked like that one, although the shift surround is similar to the one on my '73...Someone else must have added the ashtray though, as I've never seen one like that...

I have that exact one with a standard shift boot that is just screwed in from the bottom. I am prolly going to be selling it soon. I am going to be home this weekend so I will see if I can find it.

mrdew, I've got the same set up but I need a new plastic lip for the shifter boot or a boot that will work without the lip. Any advice? Do you have a part number for your boot? Thanks for any help!
