Diana's how many left

There were 12, how many are left? Only been able to find photos of one, I believe, in England. The color is between Agave & Turkis.

this one is alive - atleast back in 2002,

as it appeared in BMW's 2002 (the year) calender

which featured all 1600 - 2002 models

I've never seen a picture under the hood.

Some books describe the special features of the Diana models (like Mike Macartney's small guide book).

Supposedly, the cars were based on the 2002ti dual Solex carb'd cars with a "special" exhaust system.

No. They are with M10. Only one Diana (Hubert Hahne's one) is equiped with M30B25, i'm not 100% sure..., but i know that his car is with inline 6.

"The first five sold quickly, but the other seven went more slowly, the last example being sold at the end of 1971. To encourage sales, Hahne offered to equip them with injected engines or turbochargers.

Hahne retained one car himself - finished in Coffee Brown. Into this he had the tuning specialist Jurgen Grahser transplant the 150bhp 2.5 litre six-cylinder engine from a BMW 2500 saloon. The conversion also included a five-speed gearbox, limited-slip differential and electric windows."
