I agree, the 02 is a joy to drive, something special about the car that you feel every time you drive it.

taking the corners hard with both hands on the wheel, oh what joy. this car is meant to be driven hard!! i was looking to buy an older 911 but got the 2002 instead. still love the old porsche's but there something really elegant and classier about the 2002.

I had one installed on my car - it was nice, but I personally hated. Either my arms were too short (I am not a dwarf), or the Z4 shifter was designed for a higher center console, because I felt always reaching down low to grab it. It kind of defeated the purpose, since it took longer to shift by the time I found the knob! Some other people have had different experience though...

oh it wouldn't work for me reach wise. i already have to reach down and forward to grab the stock shifter in my 2002. i can't imagine having to reach any lower. have you found any other aftermarket shifters with really precise throws for these cars? i know wevo works great in old porsche's.

yeah it is. i was all set to buy a white one in the valley but saw this one the next day and grabbed it.
