    Hi All, Its come time to upgrade and get some new filters or stacks. However im unsure of what to get. I like the look of velocity stacks with socks better but i dont really know what the advantages and disadvantages of each are - so what im after is any opinions, information or advice on what to get. Basically all i understand so far is the K&N filters are washable and last ages and that there are different length stacks. So anyway what setup would work best on the car? I've been running filters (pretty bad quality ones) on 40mm Dellortos, pretty new engine (only about 10,000km's) and only about 5000 with this head, machined to 2.2l and all balanced with 300 degree cam and 9.3:1 compression (running on unleaded). The car doesnt get driven much (pretty much only on weekends) So yeh, what do you guys think would be best? Also are there any online stores which stock K&N filters for 40mm carbs or velocity stacks and socks (either Australian or US - just got to have worldwide shipping) Thanks everyone!     Its an upspec model and is really quite rare. It had things like different upholstery, fold down rear arm rest, pockets on the door trims, wooden door cappings and a wooden panel behind the ashtray. Also front seat head restraints and leather trimmed steering wheel, a dipping rear mirror, inertia reel front safety belts, an intermittent wash wipe and heated rear window.     At the moment mines dropping off at about 5000 when it should be going all the way up and still be pulling. It also sort of stutters a bit when you push it in 2nd. Tom

    Yep, was a special limited run. Tom Cool, well other than the headlights, what was special? Injection, seats, i think they all got 5 speeds...thats all i can remember. Someone else should chip in, i cant find my copy of the book with this info in it. :-( The Engine: The Interior:
