  1. that one specifically is a zk-502l it's you can see it written on the circuit board. They actually aren't car audio focused, but for diy people making powered speakers. zk-502: Search Result | eBay WWW.EBAY.COM Buy and sell electronics, cars, fashion apparel, collectibles, sporting goods, digital cameras, baby items, coupons, and everything else on eBay, the world's online marketplace they make higher watt ones too, though their wattage ratings are odd. I really just wanted one to make my 1985 ford constantly play 1980's oriel's games like I remember getting into my uncles pickup. I don't know how, and now that I know it's just a basic cheap amp I doubt it competes with other options here. If I were getting the kooglewerks under dash set up I would probably go with a more traditional hidden amp.
  2. I had posted this in another thread and another user pointed out that you can find the same Bluetooth amps on amazon and ebay for 20 to 30 dollars. It's up to you to find a knob you like though.
  3. This is a stranger's 02 I took a picture of on 4th ave in Tucson in 2005. Made me wish I hadn't gone for the trim-less look in high school It looked perfect.
  4. Every time I listen to the radio I remember why I stopped doing that. They are still using that double over dubbed crazy mike in the morning announcement stuff, and NPR is somehow still doing a pledge drive. It's the same one, it never ended. I wonder if you could find which conductor triggers that and put a switch on it.
  5. For question one... I wish I knew where to find some nice sport seats. I really should have bought all the 320is parts when I got out of high school. the 2nd question. Do you want to to look just like a turbo? I think I'm right in saying the turbo started in 74 and would have had a different grill and the whole rear panel. If you are going to do some body work maybe it would be better to just start with a 74-76
  6. They look cool, but I can't see putting 1/5th the price of my 02 into one of the most frequent wear items. I don't even pay that much for 10 ply rated off road tires that are like twice the height. The CN36 is about my limit for suffering for fashion. Maybe if I had 02 turbo money I wouldn't mind it.
  7. Just removed the old frigiking I need to take another stab at the replacment carpet center piece, it's hard wrestling with the first 2nd bit of carpet you should install, but last. I like it quite a bit better though. The frigiking is a very wide unit right where my knee sits.
  8. I think it's less stance works and more how things were being put into order on internet message boards. You would always have a long list of e12,28,46 ect. and then off on it's own the 2002. I think anyway. Got to check the way back machine for roadfly. I even remember threads like this on that board. 2002 was the catch all for 114 and all of it's ilk. Luckily this faq came along and did it right. That site was like 1 step from a newsgroup but not quite as searchable. Same thing happens on the ford forums. Dent side, bump side, bull nose, slant nose... Just short hand for 80-86 f series. Or just "the abonination" for the 97-04 I only really use e10 on ebay as short hand for, "please stop showing me e46 parts". Facebook marketplace doesn't even really understand 114 as a search term. "114? uh, okay here is a motorcycle and a i8 1:14 scale car?"
  9. They are, I think you already commented on them in another thread. Honestly I didn't know adding a car to my garage started a thread there. Is it okay if I just use this as a build thread. I'm kinda doing a rolling resto, with paint to come after I get other projects done. Also in the picture are the original bumpers. My uncle sent those to a chrome plater and I put the short set on he found. No idea what plater he used so they may just be gone now. Anyway. It came with some miata 14 or 15 inch wheels that looked a bit like basket weaves, but the spacing was all wrong and the car rode kinda harsh. My uncle complained about it and when I did his brakes I swapped in the 100+ set I had been holding on to. You can also see in these pictures that somebody "clearanced" the strut holder thingy with a torch and a hammer to get the miata wheels to fit. Thanks guys. Made it much easier to steer and I think the wheels fit the look better at that ride height.

  11. In Tucson mine is in a similar range. I don't have AC though, I usually dip out and get in my modern car at about 102 Drive throughs though. At 100 degrees the car starts to say, "either make healthier decisions or park and go in".
  12. I'm sure it's not a top quality unit, but I also don't think it stoops as low as those 25 dollar units on amazon and ebay. The buttons on those look like they will pop off if you blow on them. BTW I haven't seen anybody in here mention the current production Blaupunkt Bremen. It's a little too 80's for my taste, but if the continental fits, so does this. It is pricy though. I would probably spend 1/4 of that and try to wire a bluetooth receiver into a old one. Check out the Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DAB WWW.CRUTCHFIELD.COM Digital media receiver (does not play CDs)

As far as I can tell it had 3 owners before me. Whoever owned it in the late 90's and early 2000's had a stack of receipts and modified a bunch of little things to make it a daily in az. I'm currently un doing a lot of that work as it didn't age well.
  14. I don't daily my old cars so I'm not super big on audiophile sound, but I have been going with either hidden amps (alpine makes a 4 channel 45 watt power pack and a Bluetooth input) or something like this etsy builder that just gives you a simple knob that blends in with the dash (great for 50's cars) IN DASH Bluetooth Audio for Your Classic Car or Truck. - Etsy WWW.ETSY.COM This Car Accessories item by 40Cruisers has 224 favorites from Etsy shoppers. 15. People needing space does make for some good sales among friends. Shoot, I just sold a vw thing back to the guy that sold it to me. 900 dollars with a bunch of vw na parts (windows, hard top, spares) Anyway He sold it to me when he needed the space, and I dug through my email when I decided I needed the space. Also I love this guys channel. One of my favorite things to vedge out to.
  16. That is super cool, but kinda like finding a rockchester for my c1. It would be neat, but 5-10 k can do a lot if you aren't worried about period authenticity.
  17. Thanks, there are a couple places called mini spares https://www.minispares-online.co.uk/ http://minispares.com/ Is it one of these?
  18. It also appears to have holes for this frame. Either way it looks like I'm buying stuff, I can't rehab whole missing bits. The parts hubcap may provide enough clips to stop my knee trim from rattling though. That's not nothing.
  19. My driving light mounts came in from 2002 auxilliary lamp brackets WWW.PROBIMMER.COM I was kinda worried because the website was made in frontpage, but he's still delivering. So once again xkcd is right xkcd: Red Line Through HTTPS M.XKCD.COM also straightened out the grills a bit. they didn't fit in the corners before and had a few bendy slats. Per the forums suggestion I have some black striping tape on it's way. Also got my copper az plate in. There is a lot going on in the back. It's tweaked a little, and the old plate was mounted straight to the metal. With some extra holes here and there. Also one of those lights cap's is held on by drywall screw. All I have to do some more searching to see how that's supposed to be.
  20. Well they look super cool. Looks like 169 per tire, before shipping/mounting. that isn't cheap compared to the all seasons I have that are probably for a 1992 civic, but it's downright reasonable to the Michelins I gave up on... I could put 35" tires on my 4x4 for less than those.
  21. Those octavos are styled slightly better than whatever series I have. I like yours better. Also, what on earth are those tires. I didn't know anybody but Michelin was making throwback rubber in this size. Are they also like 400 dollars each?
  22. Man, that threw me for a loop. I have a friend that moved away with a roundie Sahara and a red 91 318is. Not enough other German junk in your signature to be him though.
