  1. Nice pickup! Curious as to what Engine Mount Arms you use to mount the M42 in your 02?
  2. Wow, they look great! Had to take a double take. I love that you took the time to have them repainted as opposed to picking up a new set.
  3. Where did you score the "squaretail" shirt? I know a few people in my life that would love that.
  4. That's awesome! Couldn't think of a better first car.
  5. I got ahold of Manimal and it sounds like he's making me a set as well as a few extras. PM me and I'll shoot you his email address.
  6. Love seeing the "old" photos. The vintage ones. Awesome stuff! 13, do you have a Recaro Seat with the "Donut" headrest? Looks cool.
  7. Max, do you have any experience with Photoshop? Any way you could render it in PS? I really dig that design! I want a dash badge and a patch for my garage work shirts!
  8. Rocan, you're a character! Love the jacket. Love vintage motorsport gear.
  9. Rocan, I like your style! Yeah, as far as finding that extra 25hp, it's hard for me to reccomend anything because all these mods really go hand in hand. The 2002 'with the M10 in my opinion is more of a "watch me catch you in the corners/twisties" kind of car. If you're looking for "No traction in 1st, and 2nd gear when on the LOUD pedal", it's all possible. I'm thinking a M20 with light mods could easily move a 2002 with some power. That's what route I plan on going.
  10. OP, any updates on what you went with? We want pictures!
  11. Do it. My vote goes to Max210. Would probably order two. One for me and one for my cousin.
  12. Patrick is a stand up guy and definitely a man that does it for the love of the cars and drivers IMO. A dying breed for sure.
  13. ^ This one has my vote. I love the understated look. I definitely don't want anything tacky looking on my grill.
  14. They look like good pieces at least from these pictures. I may be interested in a set here soon!
  15. ^ Sweet Picture! I'll play. This was just last week. 1981 BMW M1 My 1991 325iX (I'm on the left.)
  16. You'd simply have to: - Get the shock housings out - Compress the old springs using spring compressors - Remove upper shock mount - Remove old spring/Install new goodies. Thats roughly how I see it being done. You're going to want to match those springs up with some strut/shocks to compensate for the stiffer ride. Hope that helps more than confuses. Haha.
  17. We have also had REALLY good luck with Driveline Services out of Oregon. Also have used Drivelines NW in the past .
  18. That is pretty stinking cool! Let us know when you have more made. I've got a Birthday Gift Raincheck and this is exactly the kind of thing i've been wanting. You know, something I WOULD LOVE TO have, but don't want to buy for myself?
  19. Saw this over on R3Vlimited.com. Looks so good. Did you make those headers?
  20. Oooh. Very excited to see what's next. Please take good photos of the trans tunnel widening process! Did you make your mounts BEFORE dropping the engine in or set the engine where you wanted it and start making your mounts? Keep up the good work. I can already tell this car is going to have a lot of character!
  21. If my 02 was running I'd take it out. Would be quite the sight. Any definite date set for this yet?
  22. We've got a pretty straight (What do I know?) roundie 02 at work that's been for sale for awhile. (Long story, its a mechanics lien.) Details: We installed a new drive line from Drivelines NW, new rear brakes and ebrake cables and tires all around. If you're interested I can shoot you some photos and ask what my boss wants for it. I know at the least he wants the labor and parts to be paid. Had a few enthusiasts look at it but nobody really serious. It's beige, manual. My buddy sent me a photo of your 02 when he was at rich tuned recently. Asked me if I knew anything about it. Haha. Good luck finding a good shell!!
