No i am souring them from user JakeB (classicdaily.net) he's a great guy to deal with and extremely knowledgeable on swaps Was the touring ever sold in the US back then? nope im lucky to have stumbled on one just imported (thanks again Jan!)

Seems like my touring will have to wait a little longer I picked up a 1981 E12 528i yesterday, which needs a little TLC first. Want to use it as my daily driver when done. Thank you, when I saw it, I just had to buy it, especially for the price... Wow what a great combination it must be incredibly fast! http://blunttechclassic.com is this your site? so far just suspension work . The car came out of france and has a neat i lived in a barn for years look so the plan is to make it mechanically perfect with a nice interior but leave it as is body wise . Suspension was replaced with nice powder coated pieces with poly bushings etc billy sports and IE stg 3 springs - a coil best shot i can find at the moment (pre suspension work)
