  1. It is barely worth your while but i would pay $10 for the better case and two knobs or $5 just for the knobs including postage. The knobs would fit into a first class envelope. Thanks
  2. Very sorry no ship. Todd they are yours unless Al decides to pick up. Al please advise. Of course I will send photos of other seat but not until Sunday.
  3. Not bad black seat. One cigarette? melt. No ship. Thanks for looking. $75. In Pittsburgh I previosly posted it was blue but it is black.
  4. Only have pic of one seat for now rest assured they are exactly same condition. No rips or tears but the leather or leatherette is dried and looks like black over red. However they have nice support and I am selling only because I replaced with something nicer. Will get pics of other seat if anyone is interested. Not inclined to ship these. Tilt and slide work fine. In Pittsburgh PA. $200. Thanks for looking.
  5. Taillight internal covers and knobs? Thx
  6. Got my tix for TT2013 mad sunday!!
  7. You caught my misanthropism, or is it malapropism? Darned Google! Maybe the sale was an inside job.
  8. No do not say it that way, he inferred it, which is a more suave way of saying implied. I am sure that using the negative imperative will elicit some response.
  9. Could you please exercise some self restraint in your multiple posts multiple posts multiple post posts please.
  10. When you searched did you spell the name of the seats correctly? Sparco. A search for Sparko will only yield mis-spelled posts. Good luck!
  11. Thanks, if you could look in the link below and compare what you have to these examples you should be able to determine what you have. Let me know price shipped to 15211 and any defects, etc. Many thanks, John http://2002tii.org/kb/295
  12. Soda blasting supposedly can never eat into metal--basically impoosible so goes the theory. I use it in motorcycle carbs and seems fine. It is water soluble and safe but geez what a mess! Konrad are you finely sifting your soda before use and keeping it dry? That is said to have a huge effect on take-up by the hose. I do it the lazy way and periodically get stubborn clumps that will not of course budge, let alone blast!

  14. Aliens landed in Winchester VA and tractor beam successfully uploaded seats. No captives taken or Earthlings harmed. On our way back. Thanks Marshall, and Chuck too!
  15. If threaded, I will take the plastic one. Thx
  16. I am so psyched I have a rental outside of Douglas for first 4 days of race week 2013. Went to the Manx GP last Sept. unbelievable. The GP has vintage bikes still racing Snaefell course hitting 160+. stayed at Glen Helen and watched at Ballacraine and Tynwald. Highly highly recommend the GP. Gobs of vintage bikes puts mid Ohio to shame but obviously worlds different.
  17. Let one of those Dixie cornholes try to handle an RD they would think twice about what's what. I love bikes with and without motors but can't stand cyclists who want all of the rights of a vehicle with none of the obligations.
  18. Without prolonging the epistemology of tii-ness, I think you will find that there is a fair amount of fiddling involved in carbing your tii. Like I mentioned I didn't corrupt mine personally but there is lots of room to screw it up royally I would say. P.S. to Mr. Diesel -- I also am the hapless owner of an M151 Bultaco that has been fouled with electronic ignition. And a Hercules GS-7 ruined by a flat slide Lectron. ??
  19. Amen. Why would you want to take away what makes a tii unique? Well I think that attitude is a little bit pedantic. I bought a 74 non-tii that began life as a tii. A prior owner converted to 40 DCOE Weber. No idea why. Maybe it ran like crap and was too expensive to sort out. It seems to run great now. I don't think it is worth the expense of reconverting it. I suppose I have a bastard fraud car but I'm happy with it. Your point must be that K injection is such a fundamental part it a tii that once lost it ceases to be a tii. It isn't, for other reasons, a plain 02 -- it is nothing. Such a pity.
  20. Thanks I think shipping would eat us alive so trade best option for local deal. At the moment I dont need engine parts. Best, John
