  1. Many thanks, I will check these out. Could not find a thread on deficient clips but I trust you. Regards, John
  2. I need to refasten some trim. Where is the best place to get belt, door molding and rocker trim clips? All exterior but also need some door card clips too. Is there a single source with all? I sure cannot find one and Blunt appears not to have belt clips in stock. Many thanks!
  3. In my view you are not worthy while you have a typo in your poll. But I am a rank newbie so perhaps such things are encouraged here.
  4. Many thanks. If I can paypal to your email (or other you supply) then it is a deal. Best, John
  5. I could use them. What price shipped to 15211 gets this done? Thanks
  6. I will take the console. Thanks. Marsattacks + 79 + @ + gmail.com John
  7. Leaving CO -- my bro in law and his buddy. Now in Topeka. 104 degrees yesterday. In PA by Sun.
  8. Looking to swap out the BBS wheels on a tii. The original factory alloys were 13s. I feel like the early coupes had 4-lug 14 inch factory alloys in the same style but cant find references anywhere. Do any of you gurus know? If so wd they fit an 02? Thanks, John
  9. Need to prep a new purchase for a little travelling! Any recommendations gratefully received. Thanks, John
  10. Wow that is a great piece of advice. I am always worried about my old dirt bikes seizing or holing a piston but honestly never would have thought about this. Thank you I will check it out.
  11. Dave i will email you. Psymon this was a 5k deal so not dirt cheap but pretty fair I think. I plan to swap the wheels for the mags like my 3.0CS had and do a 5 speed and possibly a few minor mods. Otherwise it is will be a regular but not daily driver.
  12. Pittsburgh PA. Will post up some pics tonight unless mobile upload works. It is pretty sweet except the dash/console has been bodged. Twin Weber conversion. Crunchy 2d gear. Imron paint. White over black. Some minor trim doodads require attention. Super solid.
  13. After a little bit of to and fro on other cars got a decent off the grid 74 tii in Denver via WOM. Now need to get it from Denver to Pittsburgh! Schedule doesnt look good for fly out drive back. This forum and its members were a big help.
  14. But if you have a 400cc moped you could get it on trade. I would pay good money to see that moped being ridden.
  15. Nice work. If you dont have a deal already let me know. Im in Pittsburgh. Not looking to low ball just dont want to stack up inquiries too high. My email is screen name + 79@gmail.com. Thanks and good luck. John
  16. If only it was Chamonix over blue.....
  17. Many thanks to all. Am now in touch with Ben thanks to you. Will let you know what happens. This is the 73 Polaris tii from NC that is apparently going through a very short ownership cycle due to the buyer's decision to buy a 3.0CS. We will see what transpires. This is code orange with respect to warning signs but I am hopeful. Regards, John
  18. Anyone game to do a thorough 02 inspection in Chicagoland? Of course I will pay you for your time and expertise. If interested just shoot an email to my screen name plus 79@gmail.com Or if you can recommend someone that's great too. Thanks, John
  19. More ebay fraud. The seller probably accepted an offer to end the auction. In my opinion it is fraud to seek bids that are binding on the bidder only to hav the seller yank the item. That is a classic illusory contract. This guy is no good. Better off not buying from him.
  20. I like it. Not going to bid. Again some crazy bidding behavior on this one. It is daft to bid repeatedly on an ebay item --only bumps up the price and does zero to help you win. The only way to go is to bid very close to the close of the auction. Otherwise it is akin to (but not precisely the same as) bidding in a sealed bid auction where the knowledgeable bidders see your bids but you cant see theirs. As an example look at the bid history of bidder -***s (*26) -- those repeat bids are completely useless to help that bidder win. The only thing he/she gets is the momentary satisfaction of being the high bidder in an auction that has days left to run. It does help boost the price for the seller and ebay actively encourages this perverse behavior because it increases ebay's premium. Ask what the value of an early bid represents to you the bidder. The only value is to ensure that there is at least one bid pending on the item so it should not be withdrawn. Can be a low bid. Happy to explain if it would help. Sorry for the rant. Again I'm not bidding on this one. This comment is not directed to any person in particular -- just an observation that would save buyers $$ and win you some auctions that will slip away otherwise. Good luck however you choose to bid!
  21. According to the seller: "Beautiful finish. Doors, hood and trunk open. Detailed engine and undercarriage." Looks like it has all the right stuff except perhaps a 1/18 reducer-ray.
  22. Can't you even see that the neighborhood is all wrong for that car? Flippin disgusting clash. Geez.
