  1. I had a friend that went to the wrecking yard and bought the front fenders from an E30 and used those arches as "Alpina Wheel Arches" they fit exactly to the 2002 with little modification. It looked beautiful when finished. Nice thing about thise is they are metal and not fiberglass and you weld them to your existing fenders. Good luck with your modification.

  3. Someone needs to check himself into "REHAB" . No pics to boot!
  4. anyone know where to get an OEM non-sunroof headliner at a reasonable cost? They seem to vary across the board. TIA AG
  5. NIIIIIIIIIICE. Like the rear disc set-up. What are you using, 325 calipers and disc's? Please say your not using VW set-up after all that beautiful work.
  6. 350.00? He would have to pay me 350.00 to haul it away. He's CERTIFIABLE. Another 02 owner who believes he is sitting on GOLD. There is a lot of this going on at the moment. Especially here on the west coast. AG
  7. The same is going on here in the Portland area. Lately many 02 owners have been posting on CL some real POS cars for big money. I guess they believe their sitting on gold. Recently a buddy and I went out to view an Atlantik 02 and not one panel on the car was worth a crap. The only thing it had going for it was it had Bilstein sports and Eibach springs. Oh BTW it's firewall was bent from a front ender. The owner wanted 2000.00 for it. We walked away. Nothing but a parts car, and not many of those either. AG
  8. Thanks I'll try all those. i had also moved battery to back w/strut tower brace maybe the battery ground is the issue. When I leave it hooked up after two days my new battery is dead too. Hope this is all tied together. Thanks for the input. AG
  9. Just installed a New 318 80 amp alternator last week and it's fine when nothing is on. Charges at just beyond 13.5 volts but when I turn on lights or even hit brakes there is a drop in the system. If everything is on it all goes below the 12 volt mark. Took the vehicle in to the alternator shop and had alt tested and was told nothing is wrong with the unit. Any thoughts? Did I not hook something up correctly or leave something unfinished? TIA. AG
  10. Dude. Your seriously HIGH. I recently bought a pair of originals straight out of the box, NEVER installed and NO RECONDITION for 350.00 pair. These aren't as rare as you make them out to be. If you do some hunting around you can find them for between 300-400.00 for a pair. NOT 600.00 to 1000.00. You should do your research ahead of time before you post such a ridiculous price. I would be seriously EMBARRASSED to post a notice on here amongst 02 owners in the know on these. Good luck on your sale anyway but seriously! AG
  11. I recently sold a PRISTINE original 2 piece for 1500.00. You may as well step up on that. 2 piece dash's are the rarest of the 3 styles to find in excellent condition. Most of the tii guys buy them up before anyone knows they are for sale. I sold mine to a tii owner. AG
  12. He is very well known here and in Europe. Cahsel is especially well known for his extremely rare Alpina parts. Does a lot of 02 restorations. Dealt with him many times. Luckily the wife can read, write and speak German. AG
  13. Sorry. Sold them already this morning since original poster never responded. AG
  14. I have a pair of BRAND NEW NOS still in wrappers from BMW that I have had for 25 years. Make me an offer. AG
  15. Call Carl Nelson @ La Jolla Independent in San Diego. I bought one from him a couple of years ago. AG
  16. Pair of near new intake manifolds. BRIGHT aluminum in excellent condition. I'm selling them for a buddy of mine that had them on his 02 till it was totaled. The intakes have less than 1000 miles on them. Italian Webers have been sold. I had a pair of these myself earlier this year and weren't as nice as these. I sold them here on FAQ in one day. This pair is sweet! Ready to bolt on. 200.00 obo plus shipping from 97068. Reply to alfa2002gtv6@yahoo.com and I will send you pics. For some reason I can't get them to download here. TIA.
  17. Set of hubs and rotors for Tii. They have surface rust and have been stored indoors for 6 years. Purchased rotors new and they have a about 4000 miles on them when removed. They have never been turned. I suspect they will have to be turned to remove surface rust. 150.00 for all plus shipping from 97068. PM me if interested. alfa2002gtv6@yahoo.com
  18. 76scott02. Thanks for the offer. I'll get a few photos together and send them on to you. One thing I did notice tonight when I was out looking at my parts cars was the early cars have these decals. I have a 74 02 that has a black one that is not a "fish scale" decal. Last night I saw one on ebay for "buy it now" for 5.95. My other cars had them missing. So I am not sure what year they ended this type of decal. If anyone has later cars than my early 71 let me know the year if it had a metallic fish scale decal. I do know 2002 and tii are different copy on decal.
  19. Tried them already. Apparently they are called "VIN/DATE EPA emission" decals. Known to many in our community as "metallic fish scale" decals. They were designed to come apart if they were removed. The design of these decals was required from the U.S. EPA to prevent tampering with emission requirements for specific models and their year of manufacture. So suffice it to say I'm probably SOL if no one has replicated them. If this is the case I will probably get a digital photo of one from one of my many parts cars and begin trying to have them replicated myself. But if there is anyone out there that does know of a source I would greatly appreciate it.
  20. Anyone know of a source or is anybody replicating these? They are silver just left of the Vin plate behind firewall on fender skirt. Trying to complete my restoration. TIA. AG
  21. That info is correct. Mine is an early 71 that was built in February of 71 VIN #2570460. This vehicle is NOT a 67. It has to be an early 71. Shame how it ended up. BTW mine was purchased is San Diego. April was the beginning of the 12 fuse cars and long bumpers.
  22. Yes. Sorry my mistake. It's been awhile since I was over there. Mark seems to have a lot of knowledge in this area. He has done a few s14 conversions and others using megasquirt I was told.
