  1. Get a hold of JAYMIC in the U.K. These are the 1600 pieces. Virtually unobtanium. Good luck!
  2. On the earlier face plates they are aluminum and are brushed metal (2002). I have only seen a couple of real "Euro" cars with chrome ones. I know I have a couple pairs of the brushed ones laying around somewhere but can check for chrome ones. Albeit I think some of the early 1600's may have been chrome to go along with the chrome metal stripping that went along face of dash. AG
  3. Anyone have a pair of these in mint condition or know where to find them? I have a pair of lights from the early 80's and would like to find these covers. Any leads or suggestions would be appreciated. TIA. AG
  4. Das starter is KAPUT!! Saw your video and yes it has had it. Your motor just sits there and your starter is making the typical death sounds. GL
  5. Was just flipping through the channels and switched on ION and their showing the movie "Backdraft" all of sudden Billy Baldwin is driving down an alley and hops out of a Malaga 2002. Never saw movie before and happened as I was flipping through. WEIRD. Just thought I'd share.
  6. Thats what I thought to when I saw pic.
  7. When lights, fan and brake lights go on my voltage drops. Charges at 13.5-14 V. I have installed a new 90 amp alternator with internal regulator and am unsure what I did wrong. This has all been done last year but never got around to correcting this issue. I can't even leave it hooked up without it draining battery inside of a couple of days. Optima battery is new and has been tested as good. Could it be grounding and if so where should I start first. TIA
  8. Really cool. Was yours a San Diego car also or California? Curious. Regarding 2570440 that is.
  9. I didn't realize it till I just read post on 2570440 that my 71 was manufactured on this day February 5 1971. 41 years old today!!! Happy birthday old girl!
  10. 20 years ago I purchased my 71 2002 in San Diego when I used to live there. I still own the 02 to this day. I couldn't help but notice the VIN # of the 02 for sale on ebay 2570529. Mine is 2570460. Only 69 off of mine. Must have been imported together. If they could only speak.
  11. Looks like a great turn out. Wish I could have been there. Seattle has a great club and solid collection of cars and enthusiasts. I'm jealous. Love that Turbo!!! Sweeeeet!
  12. Hate to burst your bubble on these but they can be purchased new from Bluntech for less than what your asking. Same on your rear spoiler. Good luck anyway.
  13. Lets hope so. I just hope the next one doesn't have flames and huge chrome wheels. I have several 850i's from a few years ago and those were presented very well w/o the flames and incorrect racing decor. I'll try to be optimistic. Glad they are making them too.
  14. Is it me or am I the only 02 owner that doesn't like it? I don't care for race stripes or how HW presented the 02. I would have preferred it as a TURBO or Alpina racer. JMO. However. I'll be looking for mine tomorrow and at least glad they made one after all these years. HW usually makes two colors, so maybe see another out there later in year.
  15. If you live in the NW of Oregon or SW Washington then you will want to join one of the largest 2002 groups in the country PNW2002. Over 500 members and a lot of enthusiasm for the beloved 2002. Lots of members to help you find a 2002 and years of experience from the members for troubleshooting and advice. Good luck and hope you find a good 2002.
  16. As mentioned in earlier post. Interior has been sold. Sorry.
  17. I don't have pics at this time but could take them over weekend. As far a email you don't have an email button.
  18. Pads are sold and door brakes are available through ebay for 100.00 a pair and are better than originals. I bought a pair and they work great.
  19. the box sits just behind the firewall at an angle. Are you familiar with the placement of the box? It actually sits just above and behind firewall. I have no idea the cost of shipping. Would have to be shipped in a good sized box and would you need the heater core and motor also? I would typically sell those separately. And they would also be a factor in shipping weight.
  20. My apologies. The sunroof assembly, that is : cables, NLA tracks, NLA motor, switch, wiring, NLA inside sliding headlining frame and NLA OEM foam padding all intact and in working order. Foam was all carefully removed from roof. Sliding frame matches shape of aluminum tracks at forward head of frame.
  21. I do still have those and are all still intact. And all in good working order. Collision only went as far as fire wall.
  22. sorry I can't separate from the package. for sale as a whole.
  23. Looks to be a replaced dash. Notice the seat belt light on top is missing. The replacement dash's these days are all "Continental" Euro dash's w/o the seat belt light hole and Tii clock hole. Probably was afraid to cut the hole for clock, since clock diameter is metric. One would need a metric cylinder bit to cut that hole. Only my assumption of course.
