  1. I tried World Upholstery first and the seams were very inconsistent with some having a deep impression and others hardly any. I sent them back and ordered from GAHH. I love their quality and they look great.
  2. I’m still not following the time line, exactly when did you drop the car off and exactly when did you See it last? This would help in trying to track it down.
  3. Added new shoes! Was able to put a full set plus spare of 5Jx13 wheels for the Tii. Bought wheels from 3 different members here to get a full set as well as 2 more locally for $10! Blasted and painted. Just took it out for my first spin on the Pirelli Cinturato CN36. Drove great!
  4. Installed them on a set of 5” I was able to cobble together. Blast cabinet and painted 5. Spare fits in the boot due to PO who installed some wood spacers.
  5. Current spare is 185/70 but on 5 1/2” I’ll find out today!
  6. Thanks, just remember seeing posts upstream about these being made in a rat factory in Turkey.
  7. Ordered on Friday and came today after customs needed to make sure no drugs were hidden inside for 2 days. Production date 7/2020. Where these made in Argentina? “Industria Argentina”
  8. For some reason the pic of the whole sign didn’t load in better resolution - trying again.
  9. Since we’ve strayed from just BMW - I have this hanging in my garage.
  10. Just placed my order for the set of 5 - I was able to put together a full set plus spare of 5J x 13 steel wheels for the Tii.
  11. Mine actually did come with a Parrot! PO threw it into the box of extra parts!
  12. Not really sure why you would want to put your 2002 into the middle of an auction for a bunch of muscle cars. If it’s well done, there are so many better options. If the reserve wasn’t met @ $24K, I must assume it was a nice car.
  13. Was watching a bit of the Mecum Indy auction this evening and saw a Red ‘73 2002 with fog lights that was getting ready to come on the block. Of course just as it was going to it’s 15 seconds of fame on national TV......it was time for a commercial break and never mentioned. The web site indicates “The Bid Goes On”. Anyone know what it was bid up to? No pics on the Mecum site.
  14. When I did the rear, I did it all from the 4 post lift and lowered the rear with a trans jack.
  15. I found it very easy to support the engine with the system I bought from HF, took the wheels off and then dropped the subframe.
  16. HSR Fall Historics at Road Atlanta for the weekend.
  17. I don’t know, I did some genealogy research and they have tens of millions of hand written census records that they were able to digitize. Then again, someone’s making money of off that.
  18. Why did I just get 301 emails saying the same thing you posted above? ?
  19. Thanks to FAQ, I have found 1 wheel and am only in need of 1 more!
  20. I used Dynomat 15+ years ago on a 65 Mustang I restored. It held up just fine in ATL though only outside in the sun while driven. It’s now in Norway so probably not much of an issue there
  21. I am trying to complete a set of 5J x 13 wheels and am actually in need of just 1 more for my Tii. Not picky,
  22. Thanks Steve, when I had my old Mustang, it was easy as they had the Marti report which broke down every option for the cars. I'm not sure BMW will ever spend any resources on this, they don't seem interested enough in the vintage scene.
