I tried World Upholstery first and the seams were very inconsistent with some having a deep impression and others hardly any. I sent them back and ordered from GAHH. I love their quality and they look great.
I’m still not following the time line, exactly when did you drop the car off and exactly when did you See it last? This would help in trying to track it down.
Added new shoes! Was able to put a full set plus spare of 5Jx13 wheels for the Tii. Bought wheels from 3 different members here to get a full set as well as 2 more locally for $10! Blasted and painted. Just took it out for my first spin on the Pirelli Cinturato CN36. Drove great!
Installed them on a set of 5” I was able to cobble together. Blast cabinet and painted 5. Spare fits in the boot due to PO who installed some wood spacers.
Ordered on Friday and came today after customs needed to make sure no drugs were hidden inside for 2 days.
Production date 7/2020.
Where these made in Argentina? “Industria Argentina”
Not really sure why you would want to put your 2002 into the middle of an auction for a bunch of muscle cars. If it’s well done, there are so many better options. If the reserve wasn’t met @ $24K, I must assume it was a nice car.
Was watching a bit of the Mecum Indy auction this evening and saw a Red ‘73 2002 with fog lights that was getting ready to come on the block. Of course just as it was going to it’s 15 seconds of fame on national TV......it was time for a commercial break and never mentioned. The web site indicates “The Bid Goes On”. Anyone know what it was bid up to? No pics on the Mecum site.
I don’t know, I did some genealogy research and they have tens of millions of hand written census records that they were able to digitize. Then again, someone’s making money of off that.
I used Dynomat 15+ years ago on a 65 Mustang I restored. It held up just fine in ATL though only outside in the sun while driven. It’s now in Norway so probably not much of an issue there
Thanks Steve, when I had my old Mustang, it was easy as they had the Marti report which broke down every option for the cars. I'm not sure BMW will ever spend any resources on this, they don't seem interested enough in the vintage scene.
