  1. Hahaha! Never thought that my home made exhaust would end up being so loud and having such a nice tone, basically it's a small middle silencer and a straight tube from there. I've been told that during shifting fire reaches the end of it. I love how it sounds, plus when it does back fire it looks kind of mean... Thanks for the nice comments!
  2. Thought I'd share, just a little ride along the "Rambla de Montevideo"... Cheers!
  3. Hey, im really interested in the wheel, can you please send me some pictures to brucedemuro at hotmail.com Thanks in advance, Take care, Bruce
  4. Hey im interested in the black wrinkled one...
  5. Hey, I'm interested, the thing is that I live in Montevideo, Uruguay. Are you willing to ship? Thanks! Bruce

  8. Hey guys found it today thought I'd share. Imagine one of these in our cars... The new N20 four-cylinder engines offers more torque and power, while having lower fuel consumption. The engine will be first used in the new X1 xDrive28i and produces 245 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque (258 lb of torque). The engine can be matted to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 8-speed automatic transmission. The new engine, known as the N20 has been conceived to (indirectly) replace the company’s long-running naturally aspirated 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder. Here's a pic of the engine and a video of it working... Video:
  9. The 1 series was the one that was originally based and inspired on the 2002, the 135i, this engine will indeed find its way to the 1 series in the new 2011-2012 128i model...
  10. Check it out mate! http://www.bmwblog.com/2011/01/19/bmw-launches-new-20-0-liter-twinpower-turbo-4-cylinder-engine/
  11. I would wait a bit, bmw is going to release a new 2Lt 4cyl turbo engine in their new series, which looks like a blast... since you're going with such a radical mod thats what I would go for... Cheers mate, Bruce
  12. Good news mate, turns out you don't have to slice it after all. They're the same, the dash clock goes through a single individual autonomous cable set that goes from behind the dashboard (3 pins) to the clock. The engine tii parts that differ, are really few, should be ok, without cutting anything. Hope it helps, I'm attaching the electrical diagram layout of the car. Take care, Bruce BMW 2002 Electric Diagram.pdf
  13. Yup, what you have there are original BMW manifolds. The older ones had those markings, that's the ones that came on my ti. Later ones have the bmw logos and part numbers in the castings. Hope it helps! Take care, Bruce
  14. Looks really cool... Simply from an engineering point of view... Though, I wouldn't put it on an 02 but definitely on a lotus seven replica racer...

  16. These wheels were the ones that originally came in the Uruguayan factory "Alpina" version. Along with the 5 speed gearbox, Apina hubcaps and a cupple more extras. (I know because thats what my car has) Nice looking wheels. Good luck with the sale!

  21. Hi mate, I'm really interested in the rods, just wanted to know if shipping them to Montevideo, Uruguay was possible (I have no problem on paying for shipping). Are the rods in really good condition? If I exchanged the bearings for new ones the whole set should end up pretty much as good as new, shouldn't it? (just to have an idea on the overall condition of the set) Just let me know mate. Thanks in advance. Take care, Bruce
  22. Hey mate, I'm really interested in the rear window latches, could you send me some pictures of the set? Thanks in advance, I just want to see if they're the ones that go in my car... Cheers mate, Bruce My email is: brucedemuro @ hotmail . com
  23. I'm trying to find a replacement set of velocity stacks for my weber 45's I'm rebuilding... Anyone have a set or know where I can get one? The ones I have and are in pretty bad shape, (bent and rusty) are 65mm long without including the part that slides in the carb, 11.8mm total. (remember I live in Montevideo, Uruguay) Check out the pics of the ones I have... Thanks in advance. Bruce
