  1. I wonder what it would cost to get a set of those shipped to Montevideo, Uruguay... Hmmmm...
  2. I've got the article, will post it right away...
  3. As for the gauges, like 73colorado02 said It sure sounds like a bad ground problem. As for the stalling: There are many possible reasons, this is what comes to my mind... Firstly I would replace your fuel filter, it's cheap and easy, a poor fuel flow can stall your car on low revs. Have you tried dismantling carb and cleaned it? Clogged nozzles tend to prevent a 100% air-fuel combustion another reason why it might stall. Spark plugs and wires faulty? I've had spark plugs fail under compression. Idle speed incorrect? Vacuum leaks? check the manifold for gaps. Float stuck in carb? sometimes it happens maybe the carb needs a overhaul, or might carefully try to tap on the carb, to see if it the floater unlocks... Try it out... Hope this helps, Cheers mate! Bruce
  4. I think the tab acts like a lock when you put the next segment of the exhaust system, the parts are 4 to 2 then 2 to 1, the down pipe 2 to 1 should have a similar tab to pas a bolt through holding them in place... I think I remember seeing that before... Experts?
  5. I knew I had it stashed away somewhere but found it, check it out, this is a Alpina Tuned engine, and also found some pics of another header which said to be an Alpina. Cheers mate!
  6. I'm lost for words, thanks again mate!
  7. They may not be then, it's really hard to find real data on which are alpinas and which are not so you may be right, I know of the spaghetti alpina header but I can't find the picture now, I'm sure that some of the aplina experts here will clear this one out...
  8. I have no clue, but I sure am interested in one of those, since shipping would be ridiculous to get them here (I live in Montevideo, Uruguay), I'm planing on making a set from the pictures. Someone from the forum should give you an estimate of what it could be worth...
  9. Thanks John! I know they do appear from time to time, but I was wondering If I could only just find a ring, buying a whole clock would be the last resort... Cheers!
  10. Hey guys I'm restoring my Ti Clock and I need a new bezel for the clock since its original one is beyond repair, its a 60 mm ring any kind should work (doesn't mater which color, silver, black, chrome, even with mild pitting should do the trick) , so if you have a dead clock or one laying around you could remove the ring off or know where I could get one I'm all eyes (remember I live in Montevideo, Uruguay) so keep in mind I don't have repair shops near me and parts are pretty hard to come by here. Just let me know and thanks to y'all, Cheers, Bruce
  11. Thanks for the pics mate, but it wasn't the one I was looking for, this is a 2000 CS Air Box, I was looking for 2002ti one that is a bit different, so I guess I'll pass this time. Take care, Bruce
  12. Hey I'm interested, could you send me some pictures of the airbox? My email is: brucedemuro@hotmail.com Cheers, Bruce
  13. Dirk thank you so much for the info! This was what I was looking for!
  14. Believe it or not its an inflatable emergency windshield!
  15. Sweet! I've been having some trouble getting info on Ti's here in Uruguay since there aren't many I think mine is the only one that survived... I'll stay tuned, Thanks CD!
  16. Thanks mate! All info is well received. The orange booklet I'm talking about is the one that has the extras as the petri wheel, the chrome tip exhaust, chromed rock-guards, etc... Just in case maybe someone has it and could post it up, I've seen them on ebay now and then but 30 bucks for them sounds a bit too steep (I live in Uruguay so shipping is kind of an issue)... Thanks again! Bruce
  17. Hey everyone, I was trying to find a scanned version of the 2002ti sales brochure (shown below) since I'm really interested in the picture and data it contains, also was looking for the scans of the orange booklet with the optional extras... If anyone has a scanned version or could scan the original I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance! Cheers! Bruce
  18. Hey I'm really interested in the Ti pump and was wondering if shipping to Montevideo, Uruguay was possible, I have no problem on paying for the shipping fees since I have a Paypal account. Just let me know. Take care, Bruce
  19. Hey I'm interested I'll wait for the pictures... Cheers, Bruce
  20. Thats what I meant, after seeing that I'm not that sure that Alpina only used MOMO, maybe someone could clarify (?), because I've NEVER seen or heard nor read of such wheel, but I sure am interested to do so... So Alpina experts, any input?
  21. Hey guy's (and girls) I've been following this auction just for fun and my god did the end price surprise me, and now haves me wondering... Till' now I thought that Alpina used Flat early Momo Prototipo wheels for their cars, but after seeing this I have my doubts, they must know something I don't. Granted the wheel looks gorgeous, and It's really well done but I've just bought a perfect Petri wheel for less than 200 bucks so there must be something more apart from the custom paint job and the Alpina horn button... Anyway, just wanted to share my amazement... This is the ebay link: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemnext&item=180380291488.html
  22. Congrats on the new beast! Looks gorgeous!
