What calipers and pads are these?

Today I went to put new pads on my front brakes. I THOUGHT that I had the Girling Volvo 240 brakes up front and had ordered the appropriate pads from Ireland. However, when I pulled the old pads out, they are completely different than the ones I got from Ireland, considerably larger. From these photos, can anybody confirm what calipers and perhaps, more out of curiosity, what brand of pads these are? No manufacturer stamp was immediately evident on the caliper.

They look like the Volvo 240 Girling calipers, pads and '77 320i hubs I had on my 02.

Oops. I guess I didnt read your post too well.

Grover,

Measure the dimensions of the existing pad.

Now go to: http://www.hawkperformance.com/

At the bottom of the homepage, download the 2008 catalog (pdf document)

Skip to about page 23 - this shows standard brake pad backing plate sizes. I'd start with the Volvo and BMW apps of course.

Alternatively, you might be able to clean up that Reybestos pad you are removing, and get the part number off of it.

Best of luck!

-Jayson
