I've been wanting to go to Cars & Coffee since I moved here in August. With or without the '02, I'll try to be there.

Where will I take it for upkeep... like service? How about my garage? =) I'll do the work myself, that's the fun part.

And yes, I'm very excited that it is smog exempt in Ca!

Please keep it that way in original shape. Just fix the seats and clean up the engine bay and you have a beautiful car!

Gotta agree with that sentiment. Beautiful car, and don't be too quick to "upgrade" it as you get it sorted out. There's a lot of fun to a stock '02! That said, the temptation to make mods is great. My "original" car now has 14" rims, a 5-speed, bigger sway bars and a sport steering wheel, but all can be reversed easily.

By the way, I think orange is the best color on '02s, but then I may be biased...

Enjoy this disease--you've got a great story and a great machine to start with!
