    Hey all, I need a mechanic in Los Angeles. Looong story. not a good one. So I need somebody trustworthy. Everyone Ive talked to, either doesnt want to work on the car, or wants to buy it then....it goes south because its not for sale. thanks

    whats in there is black....it looks like the socket was somehow stretched out....so they used something to keep bulb in...the bulb came out easily but bulb metal casing is stuck....ive tried prying it out with pliers...all it does is bend....however what ever they used to keep it in is breaking apart...but the enclosure doesn't look like it can hold the bulb..... does that make sense? thank you I'm looking here for that part...what would i call it?

    Hi all... I have a problem...ive had my 1975, 2002 for 8 years...i need to change the left tail light. Apparently the previous owner GLUED the light bulb into the enclosure....I need a new one.... Im unsure what else to do.. Lori

    yeah I bought that expensive armor all-like stuff they put on boats. but to no avail, its started to crack. So I guess there really is no way to stop them from cracking long term.

    why? I put that airplane "armor-all" like stuff. its just getting out of control. 2 craks in a week. where can I get a replacement and how do I stop this. I know we had a really rainy season. I think the moisture is affecting it. aaaaahhhhhh Ive been so good about it

    Anyone heard of it? A woman who drives a mercedes 300D suggested I get some for blubird. she said she was unable to get a tuneup for five years and used this instead. She suggested that it helps the engine. I'm not trying to pass up getting tune ups, but it sounds interesting. She said it cleans the engine???? Anyone here know Starauto on Sepulveda in West LA? The recently tuned up my 02. I saw a few Bavarias so I hopped in and got a tune up

    So I'm debating. I really dont need to install that old Blaupunket I got last summer. I can sing to myself. Blubird gives me an "adult time out" I opened the console last summer, to connect my new old Blaupunkt. I found that I need older connects as my Pioneer circa 80s (no longer works) is not compliable with my Blaupunkt. tried to re-align the many holes. Saw that some of the holes werent attached to anything that actually fit. I think the term is called "brute force" After seeing the pics of "Betsy Ruth?" I cant decide to either recover the old console. or build a new one. After all its cardboard. Not to mention the under dash cardboard. All needs to be remade. I'm open to all creative ideas and photos.

    they are mechanics... Doug Scott the manager says he knows 02s. they're located on washington blvd near Lincoln. it could be marina del rey...but the address says LA. Do they know 02s?

    I need to get the radio installed, the console put together or remade. I pulled it apart to see what needed to be done to the radio and it wouldnt fit back the same way. It has a ton of screws and holes. All the wires were originally stuffed in there. I found a place that can sell me radio cables. They had installed a Pioneer which no longer works. I bought an old radio with original wires. The console's plastic is rotting and peeling. the dash is relatively new. It had the 5 speed upgrade when I got it. I havent been to an 02 event. They all have seemed to happen when I had work. Thanks for bringing this up. I may work on it this week.

    what does it stand for? I heard the German auto club. It goes on the front grille. Theres also a Bavarian badge. What does that stand for? This German woman has them for sale. She had alot of car badges. Munchen, Stuttgart, Berlin, Deutcheland not a bad price either. I'm considering the Bavarian badge and the ADAC badge

    and where can I buy one? looks like a large rubberband split. the keep falling off and will my muffler fall down before I get one? (stupid quesiton I know) but I just noticed.

    anybody here? it was parked in a driveway in a gated community. I have a friend who's parents live a few doors down. I thought it was my car...following me.....angry I had left her at home for the holidays. my mother was in the car so I couldnt get out to write a note.

    Yeah unfortunately. Some rule book says "exit on passenger side, not in traffic" You're expected to slide over to get out. I have a friend who lost a door then had to pay for all damages. bummer...
