They were different units but Mercedes used Frigiking in the 280SL late 60's early 70's. Maybe these folks might have an old manual.

Hook me up if you think about it c.d. and Blunt...my '76 has a complete FrigiKing system, runs, but needs recharge I think. I want to make sure everything is wired properly.

instructions for my Frigiking...wiring is very simple as it's not tied into the heater blower harness like the Behr...

The following pics are from the Operating Instructions booklet.

No mention is made of the supplier, but one picture show a BEHR centre console. Could be the wiring et al is generic?

the A/C blower is wired thru the heater blower wiring harness so you can't turn both on at the same time. With the Frigiking (or at least all those I've seen) this is not the case; the Frigiking blower is outside the heater blower wiring harness.
