On a '72tii, what goes left of the steering wheel where the

choke is on a carb car? My tii has a hole, but I can't remember what goes there since I took it apart for the restoration. I thought there wasn't supposed to be a hole at all.

If plastic, nothing went there--it was blank. I think they switched to a plastic piece when the factory switched from the 1 bbl manual choke carb to the 2 bbl auto choke carb. They proabaly switched the tii's over at the same time.

If metal, probably some sort of plug. Check RealOEM for the exploded diagram.

Mine had a switch for the alarm, thinking about putting another power outlet for the tom-tom
