Hobiedave A/C brackets Jig and software

Recommended Posts

I'm wanting to see if anybody wants to take over the making of the A/C brackets for the M10 engine. I'm just wanting to get enough to cover the jig/software I had made for the bracket.

It cost $500 for the jig and the software so that's what I'm looking to get. The jig will give the new owner the ability to make sure that the quality is consistent with every batch of brackets. Someone with access to laser cutter and welder could make all the profit for themselves. Unlike me I had to pay a shop to do all the work, cutting, bending and welding. If you are interested in this and would like to take this over, shoot me an email (dave.hobiedave@gmail.com).

Thanks

Dave

Ive tried multiple different brand of brackets and still end up coming back to Hobie's bracket. Hopefully someone will take over production!

After buying one of these literally 10+ years ago I am FINALLY going to install it in my '73. Can't wait!

Glad you’re making progress, Jason!

The jig and software have Been passed on to the new owner. He will be keeping the bracket name and making a good quality bracket for our community.

Thank you all for your support over the years. I was close to 400 brackets sold. Dosn't seem like that many unless you think of if I had not made the first one.  What started out as just a bracket for my car. Turned into something for the whole community.

Thank you

Dave

Dave, I've just installed your bracket on my 76, it went on perfectly with the Sanden clone compressor.  Thanks for supporting the community and if you're still flying, stay safe out there.

Thanks Dave for what you did for the community for all those years. How many people can say that they were an actual brand?
