It's for when the Cop asks "do you know how fast you were going"

That actually happened to me. I ended up with a ticket for defective equipment. 😁

Which I got out of when I showed the judge my correspondence with North Hollywood Speedometer.

So there I was, staring into abyss of stuff I have laying around. I found a vintage roundel. You know the ones with the clear rubber coating. Perfect.

Had to hook up a ground wire for the horn button and did a slight refinishing of the aloomineeum horn cover ring. The China finish was a wee bit stupid so I chucked it up in the lathe and spun sanded/polished it.

Have to say, I like it except the wood wheel is really smooth and hard.

but what do I know-(how many is that now Ryan?)

That looks amazing. Is it compatible with a Momo adapter or did it come with its own?

I had an adaptor laying around which had no markings. All I had to do really was the following.

1) Machined off the concentric ring of the hub.

2) Re-drilled and tapped new bolt holes and pattern for this wheel.

3) Added a ground wire for the horn button

4) Re-used the horn contact from the stock wheel

5) lil custom touches like the roundel and horn ring spun finish.

but what I know
