Have not owned an 02 since I sold my beloved petri and Scheel equipped ‘71.5 in 2013 to fund the inevitable minivan. Kids are almost old enough to learn to rebuild an M10 now.
 

Musts: roundie with minimal rust (I know I know) and a cool color (no Malaga, fjord, Polaris, chamonix, sahara, etc) 

 

desired: ‘71.5-73, I have done the square light thing and 12 fuses seems better than 6?? happy to bring home something in boxes that hasn’t run in 30 years. I just can’t weld. I’ll try and check here, but have not been active on this site in about a decade (what happens when you start finding longhood barnfinds). Email/text at jgkahrs AT gmail will get me quicker.

Wishing you lots of luck. I sold mine 5 years ago and just picked up a 68 1600… it’s a mess but I’m trying to take it in stride. If I waited another 5 years till my kids are ready I’d be priced out. Good luck!!! My advise is, if you have to over spend to get a good starting point, DO IT!
