Weber Adapter Rubber Gasket Part No.

I need to replace the rubber gasket that sits between the adapter and the air filter.

RealOEM does not show the part number unfortunately.

Anyone have a source and/or part number?

I think that rubber piece is part of the OEM 2 barrel Air Cleaner, Part # A13711263041, about $15 from Wallothnesch.

I will second Mark's response. BMW part number should be 13711236041 (edit: just noticed the Walloth number is the same but with an A in front of it). I had to dig out my parts book on that one, realOEM didn't list it....

Or...get a piece of closed cell foam, cut to fit and sandwich between the adapter and the air cleaner housing. 

 

For some reason I couldn't use the adapter that came with my Weber as it made the air cleaner hit the hood's underside, so I used tinsnips and a Dremel cutting wheel to enlarge the stock air cleaner opening, then made a gasket (as above) from some very dense foam just thick enough so it would compress between carb and air cleaner, providing a good seal.  That was around 1981, and I've replaced the gasket once in the intervening time...

The one in your photo is from the two barrel Solex, but it has been cut in half to make it work.

 

I cut out a plywood form, to make cutting the seal a little easier.

 

 

I'd order the seal from Maximilian or Blunt, to keep shipping costs down.
