19th Annual MidAmerica 2002 Fest

April 25-27

For those of you who are headed to Eureka Springs for MidAm -

If you have have not registered, please take a few minutes at www.midamerica02fest.com and let us know you are going to join us.  This is a real help.  The Friday and Saturday evening meals are free, please help us (sponsors) plan for the number attending.

If you have not pre ordered T-shirts, caps, and other gear, again go to the above website.  PREORDERS WILL END WEDNESDAY APRIL 3 at MIDNIGHT.  If you would like to be assured of an item, please pre order.

A really big part of the event are the tech sessions and panel Q & A.  We are excited about our lineup of speakers:

Jack Fahuna, Keith Kreeger, Chris Leonard, Mike Pugh, Terry Sayther, Mike Self, Rob Siegel (tentative), Ben Thongsai, Paul Wegweiser, Ed Zinsmeyer

Lots of other 02 authorities (JimK knows just about everything concerning our cars) - if you have a question, the answer will be there.

Still time to join us.

The host hotel is sold out.  The manager has recommended the Quality Inn 479-253-5241.  It is a short distance from the Best Western Eureka Inn.

At the risk of sounding repetitious, this is not to be missed if you're an 02 person.  Great camaraderie, lots of nice cars (and folks), great eats and great roads to drive.  What's not to like?

And if you're coming from the northeast or midwest, the annual caravan, originating in Dayton, departs for Eureka Springs on Wednesday morning 24 April with an overnight stop in Paragould AR and then through the Ozarks Thursday to our destination.  Lots of places to join up along the way, the more the merrier.  PM me for details and to be added to the e-mailing list.

cheers

mike

Our caravan will be gathering in Kingsport TN the evening of Monday April 22    We will head across country over the Cumberland Plateau, across the TN River valley, with a stop in Paris to visit the Eiffel Tower.   After a night in Dyersburg will cruise across Arkansas through the Ozarks arriving in Eureka Springs mid afternoon that Wednesday   This will allow time for sight seeing for the first timers and for some of us to help out with setup

Safe travels to everyone   Gonna be great as usual!!!!

Sweep the road for us on Wednesday, as we'll be taking the same route from Dyersburg on west to Eureka Springs on Wednesday afternoon.   Let us know if there are any problems.

See y'all in Arkansas.
