Hi John - I found a gentleman that builds / rebuilds commercial Recaro seats in a professional shop in Kenilworth NJ. He does sports car seats at night. He will build you pretty much anything you're looking for. He currently has a set of e21 recaros and recaro LS waiting to be redone.

 

If you would like to see his workmanship on these in person let me know. He asks for half at the start the build and half at delivery. He also ships via ups for around $80 with some final assembly required. His name is Matt PM me for his tel.

Thanks for the info!  I don't have any need now, but was curious.  Looking fwd to seeing your car after you get it together.  We have a cars & coffee at BMW of Sterling on Sat, May 6, and the concours is Sun, May 7 in Vienna.
