Met some really nice folks today at the show, huge crowd and well represented 2002 from bone stock to wildly modified. Had a great time. Hopefully next year I will get some track time once I get my big brake kit on. Now that my car can go I need to get it to stop as well! Enjoy.

Sorry to say that it is not my ride and I probably wasn't who you talked too.  I just happened to be standing there when the trophy was placed on the roof.

 

I'm waiting on JakeB to finish my car in the near future.  One of these days I'll be joining everyone at these type of events.

I was disappointed that I missed meeting everyone and checking out all of the nice 02s.

Haha, I thought you owned that blue beauty.  Anyway, make sure to ask any questions you may have when doing your swap, I will be more than happy to help.

Yea, kind of a long day, I got up at 5 AM for the drive up, and by 1:30 I was ready to leave.

Jake is doing all the work so I hope there are no questions  Years ago I owned a 68, 70, and a 76.  While I was able to do most of the work on those cars, doing a M42 swap with a turbo is probably more than I want to tackle.

 

In the next month or so I'm going to fly back to Michigan and drive the car back to SoCal.  Haven't decided on the route but I hope to find some fun roads along the way.

Snapped this pic, a nice puff of blue smoke would come out when he let off the throttle, I'm sure we all know whats going on here

I drove down from San Fransisco with the caravan group called "bavarian500". Check out all those BMW's in line on the second pic! I drove my Mtech 2 e30 down.
