Hi everyone. , I would like to know if a starter from a 76 automatic fits a TII manual. Thanks , fred

Yes. The starters are all interchangeable between 1965-1977 including 1602's. You could even get a nice light weight E30 M3 starter(88-91)for around $200 that spins your engine real fast and bolts right in

yup.  Suggest the E30 starter as mike mentions.  Worth it in the long run.

sr441x works too, a little cheaper than the m3 starter and still lighter than the original m10 starter.
