Driving A Different Scale Car

So when I can't drive my 02, I drive these:  http://shaunadega.com/

It gives me my driving fix on a smaller scale.  The video on the media page of the site has my 3 boys 1, 2 & 3 in the B main and me finishing second in the A main by 2 laps.  Had a tech and testing session at the track last night in prep for tonight's race.  I might try and get a race at the track for the local 02 owners.

I still have my 1/24 scale Ferrari 250GTO slot car from my college days in the 60s...we used to race those things on a really huge track in Durham, NC.  Brings back memories.

The track is off Monterey hwy north of 85.  Its a 50 foot 6 lane hand routed trioval.

Good race tonight.  11 drivers.  Qualifying was in lane 4 tonight.  I was top qualifier at 1.649 seconds and my son was second at 1.770 seconds.  I took 1st in the A Main and he was 4th.  I am going to try and pull together an IROC race for a bunch of local 02 owners.S
