Yeah. Digital sensors hate red..

Construction and tracks (plus headrests) look very mid-late sixties, but no BMW of that era that I know of have plastic covers over the reclining mechanism. But VW and Audi both did, and the seats are too large for VWs of the period. And if they were M-B, the adjuster covers would have been chrome.
