The problem is the price for these parts is just getting to be astronomical and is akin to the parts prices for CS coupes.

whenever i think the cost of replacement parts is a might high i console myself with the alternative of... it is not available, you cannot have it, make it yourself! repair and restoration is much more difficult without the parts. it is also probably darned expensive to produce this stuff in smallish quantities. so be happy (don't worry) :)

Is the filter the correct diameter?

I know the last one I got was larger in diameter and I could not use the original band clamp that goes on the fuel filter bracket next to the radiator. Had to resort to a tie wrap.

I am not sure if it is the real tii pump. Can somebody verify? It is also cross-listed for a Porsche CS EFI system (like 320s E21, not for mechanical FI). I may be wrong but it seems to good to be true.
