  1. Ireland - Thanks so much for the offer. I have bought one on ebay. The six pictures looked just fine - when I have it in my hand, I'll know if I did well. - Rob
  2. Hal and I have communicated. Anyone else have one? Let me know, thanks! - Rob 720-331-2002
  3. Does anyone have a Tii exhaust manifold gathering dust they would like to send to a new home? Let me know, thanks! - Rob 720-331-2002
  4. Domo - I have a 49K miles 4-speed. Everything works just fine. $200. and it's in the Denver area. Let me know. - Rob 720-331-2002
  5. Anyone have one of these? Let me know, thanks! - Rob
  6. Maybe someone has one of these they would like to fix me up with. It's the type where you have to pop out the speed indicator to get to the nut, the removal of which allows you to get the switch out of the dash. In the pictures, the indicator plate has been popped out. Not the greatest design! Let me know what you have, thanks! - Rob
  7. Hi, All - It seems that one of my door brakes has a half-disintegrated center nylon roller. The symptom is that the door goes clunk when fully open. Does anyone have a door brake that would like to part with? Must have an intact center roller. Let me know what you have, thanks! - Rob rcsteinway@earthlink.net
  8. Steve - After my wrestling match with them, I believe they are formed during assembly to have pressure on the bearing. The upper piece has two depressions that stop the travel when the roller bonks them. I drilled out the depressions and still couldn't get it apart - off to plating! - Rob
  9. I tried to take them apart, and gave up after an hour. Off to the plating shop with them, as is! - Rob
  10. Hi, Kid - Is the opening 7" wide? If so, it appears that I need it, thanks! - Rob
  11. Hi, Kid - I will measure mine and get back with you, thanks. - Rob
  12. Seb - If this is correct for a '72, I will take it. Let me know, thanks! - Rob rcsteinway@earthlink.net
  13. Kid - Does a Blaupunkt fit inside that mystery bracket? If so, I will take it off your hands, along with the ash tray stuff, thanks! - Rob
  14. Brandon - I'll take it, let me know how to pay, thanks! - Rob

  17. Steve - Thanks for the info. Still looming for a 2-piece dash. Meanwhile, I will be calling Just Dashes and Vintage Dashes to see what they have to say. - Rob
  18. Chris - It was the Porsche Parade at Lake of the Ozarks a few years back. I still won my class. - Rob
  19. Harry, Chris - I have been dinged at a 911 Concours for having a non-German bolt on the car. On my Tii, it's going to be only German hardware - Deka, Graeka, Kamax, et cetera. That's how I can tell where someone worked on my new (to me) car - the heathen put Taiwanese hardware there! Thanks, though. - Rob
  20. Anyone in the Denver area strip a car or two? I need to come visit with you. Let me know, thanks. - Stein-Man

  22. Don't deal with tbeathard77@gmail.com. Sys he lives in Illinois, but has a Maine phone number. I texted a bunch with the guy - he dodged questions, doesn't have a paypal account, but his SON does, does that smell right? Wanted me to Venmo him so he could "commence shipping" quickly. "Quickly" is another read flag. Says he has a "good reputation" on this forum. Hmmm.
