  1. I'll take them. Let me know how to pay, thanks! - Rob
  2. Steve - Thanks for the info, you are a wizard. Mine cracked dash says "Fan" on the lower left switch position. A dash I was recently shown has "Front Fog Lamps" in that position. What is the difference? - Rob
  3. Sherman - I once saw a 2002 at a Concours, trying to win. His fender bolts were yellow zinced, country of origin unknown. Blue - Shipping from W&N is a killer, I have ordered parts from them. I think them sending me 5# of fasteners may not be that great of an idea!
  4. Still looking for a '72, '73 dash, crack-free. More than happy to pay going rate, thanks!
  5. Con - . . . And put Chinese hardware on my '02? Never! ?
  6. Hi, All - I could post that I need this bolt, those bolts, this clip, that screw, blah, blah. I would rather post for a bucket of hardware where things are tossed during a car stripping. Does anyone have such a thing taking up space in the garage? Thanks! - Rob
  7. Adawil - Spectacular interior, kudos! - Rob
  8. JP - I bought it, and not for $41K. The guy has owned it for 48 years, and in Phoenix. All the rubber rotten, cracked dash, sloppy repaint in original color, wrong outside mirror, steering loose, ball joints wasted, on and on. Stored, no, garaged for 48 years, I'll take it! Wouldn't you? ? - Rob
  9. Chris - How does one find this Paul Cain? He does great work! -Rob
  10. Hi, Brandon - Let me know if you have a sound dashboard, a toolkit, steering wheel, or a set of Tii alloy rims, thanks! - Rob
  11. Robert - Yeah, duh on me. I edited it once but it didn't take. "Supposed to buy?" ? I want an original piece, no re-dos, but thanks! - Rob
  12. Hi, All - I am trying to avoid spending the big bucks and springing for a new one. It may come to that! Let me know what you have, thanks! -Rob
  13. Hi, Dave - I am interested. If you could take a few pictures and email them to me, and what you want for them all, that would be great, thanks! - Rob rcsteinway@earthlink.net
  14. Hi, Bill - Thanks for the tip. It wasn't there earlier this AM - I get the BAT daily mail. That one is very nice, probably too nice to tear down and restore! - Rob
  15. Steve - thanks as always! Andrew - I checked it out. Missing the pliers and one wrench, otherwise it looks good. I think I would rather find a complete toolkit that try to source the pliers and the one wrench. Thank you! - Rob
  16. Still looking! Anybody know of one? Thanks! - Rob
  17. Does anyone have one for me? Thanks! - Rob
  18. All - Coming from the Porsche world as I am, Porsche knew exactly how many of what were issued with what color. It's interesting that certainly BMW has this info and won't issue it. Hmm. I don't *believe* dividing the number of cars by the colors would yield a good estimate. It sure wouldn't in the Porsche world. Thanks to all! - Rob
  19. Is there a table for this? After much searching, I gave up and posted a tread here. Let me know, thank you! - Rob
  20. Hi, All - Looking for a 2002 toolkit. I want it to be complete, and with the nicest toolbag I can scrounge up. Let me know what you have, thanks! - Rob
  21. Mods - My error, please move to "parts wanted"
  22. Hi, All - Does anyone have an extra tool kit they would be willing to part with? Show me what you have, complete with all tools, please! - Rob
  23. Hi, Steve - Thanks for your thoughts. I did a bare-metal job on a Malaga 02 15 years ago, and I miss it! Most of the times I parked in downtown Boulder, CO I would return to an offer to buy it. That's why I am on the hunt again. Good to know the parts situation is still good. I took a detour down the early 911 path for a bunch of years. I restored a Carrera RS and won first at the Porsche Parade in '17. Amen on your recommendations, same in the Porsche world. I think I am hearing, California, here I come! Here in Colorado, CA isn't too far to go for a nice chassis. Keep in touch if you know one for me. - Rob rcsteinway@earthlink.net
  24. Mr. BMW - Would you please email me about your car? Thanks! - Rob rcsteinway@earthlink.net
  25. Robert - Sorry, you are correct! Ryan - Thanks for the link. Do you have the exterior trim pieces, bumpers, and the grills for the car? - Rob
