    I did some quick research for you. The paint used on that rare find has been known to cause cancer in lab rats….I am trained to handle such problems and will gladly get that wheel out of your life! So glad I am able to offer this service for you. ? I will buy in a heartbeat if you are out on it!

    Sounds good! Do you happen to have a seat bottom frame? Took mine out to strip fabric off of and a bunch of the frame is rusted and broken. Just need a frame. Having some custom covers made for it. I could trade you the big seats back for it! I am not going to use those.

    The most recent URO trunk seals have a new design and I had good luck with them on the last car. They are taller and seal well.

    I had to order something else too so shipping wasn’t an issue but my memory is these from Bmw were MUCH more in the past(like double URO) so I went Uro. I installed well and could not get doors to shut well no matter how I adjusted. I ended up just having to cut and shave material off to just get the door to latch…much slamming. Many posts on here from others. and it’s only 132.50 dollars…not lbs. I follow these prices pretty close doing multiple cars now…and this is cheap for Bmw brand!

    I did Uros on my last one and even went back and forth with the maker…was still not happy with door closure when I sold it.

    Hello all Was picking up a few things on w and n and noticed they have Bmw brand door seals for only 135 a side! As I remember when I did my other car I had to go URO which I never was happy with. They only have left side listed in stock but I bought one! I want to say they used to be at least double that!     Could you point me where to check? I plugged in the long hose big hose and small hose that I found into the two ports on the replacement airbox…not from a 74tii. Is there anything else?

    I have looked and listened around…have not sprayed anything. It’s hard to tell the quality of everything under the intake but have tried tracing with a light.

    ngk bp5es. Cap and points look ok…but have all new stuff coming from ie in the next couple of days.

    Thanks brother…now to get the new stock exhaust to all seal up so it sounds good going down the road! All I hear is chuffing from the muffler and joint at the downpipe.

    Right around 900 too! Just timed and adjusted idle again a few days ago.

    Hey there. Took a quick video of long sitting Tii running. I think I’m getting close but it may be down on power some…lots done to get to this point from other posts but still need fresh points, rotor, cap…coming soon. Car starts and idles and drives. I adjusted valves but the motor rocks and rolls a little more than I think it should? Can feel in the car…have mounts coming too on Monday if you think that might help. This is my first Tii after a 76 02 with a Weber…feels about the same around the neighborhood so hard to say if I am getting everything. Compression is all close to each other in the 130-140 range. Anything good or bad jump out to anyone? IMG_3425.MOV
