    Well, at normal speeds around the neighborhood, the 205s do fit! Still a little tall for my taste but seems to ride pretty nicely.

    Removed from my tii and replaced with correct stuff. Brand new pads. Car stopped great. Price is obo. Make an offer on anything you need.

    Im wondering if my fat 205s on my 15 inch panasports will fit and not rub!? My plan was to sell but maybe the higher springs is a blessing in disguise!

    Well…I am officially good at changing struts and springs. Did one side at a time…again…and switched my unknown, unmarked springs front to back. Much better.

    I did keep everything loose until I got it on the ground. My current guess is that they are actually ST springs (the paint matches those) maybe and…that I have them reversed. ?‍♂️

    Rears were loose for sure. Pretty easy to put on. These bolted up pretty loosely too!

    Bought from forum member resra….says they are nos h and rs. No reason to doubt.

    Spacers were up top on this car….and they are gone!!

    These were nos h and rs and had no markings. I matched them up as well as I could guess with the ones I took off of the car…here is a pic of the strut assembled. Does that help anyone?

    I have a lift and left swing arm and sways loose…lowered the car and it is like I’m driving uphill! I drove around the block a few times going hard left and right…looks rediculous. Any ideas?

    Man…that was a job. Full front end redo on the Tii. Switched over to actual Tii parts (thanks Hal!) and all new bushings, rods, rotors, calipers, ball joints(replaced original riveted in ones)bearings, hubs,bilstein, h and rs….and ss lines! Could not get new thick pads on the rotors so had to scrape off some material with the driveway. There was no way they were going to fit…but it’s done! Good thing it’s only 106 today! ?‍♂️

    Accordion’s are sold. Still have tucked and freshened bumpers. Come get em.

    Hey Hal quick question. Assembling struts. The lower dust shield bolts. Listed as m6 x 12 on Maximillian …bought new ones and I cannot get those size bolts to thread in without forcing and the bolts that were on the non Tii struts will not work either. Any ideas?

    I am in my second square tail redo over the last seven years and starting to accumulate too many parts to store at my house and still be able to do work in the space. I don’t want to be the guy who throws away anything worth something to someone else in the future. I am sure you guys have all been here before. strut tubes hubs Stock springs 2 sets of big bumpers with rubber and accordions bumper struts…shortened and not..

    Resurrection continues! I am a hs band director so my summer pretty much ends next week. Shout out to Steve at blunt tech for getting me parts quick once I unearthed some more needs. I am putting in about 8 hour days out there trying to get the front end done! Rear took me only about 2 hours. Bushings, HDs, springs,return to Tii struts, brakes,bearings,tie rods….a lot! 74tii had original ball joints riveted in still. That took a while!

    That’s what I was wondering with posting. Was it damaged from pulling…but it looks like a pretty consistent bend so hopefully not!

    Just never saw one with a bump out only on the ac side. Wonder where it’s from. The st and Ireland just kinda jog out on both sides.

    Digging more into the Tii. Appears to have a pretty beefy front and rear bar already on it even though I have some STs waiting to go on. Front and rear look the same size quick measurement being around 22-23mm… Looked around and could not find a pic of any bar with a “point” as I would call it or kink over towards the right side. Anyone know what this is and if it should go to the rubbish bin? I know pictures are not great.

    Went ahead and removed all oxidation and polished bumpers. Sanded and Restored all rubber with sem trim black and cut and glued accordions. Got em on the car and decided to just go with chrome euro style. My time spent is your gain. Come get em! Open to offers. Have another set from another car someone can just have!
