    Thank you for posting this. I am so dreading putting the roof back in after paint and headliner install. I have the rare manual sliding sunroof that only a few have seen by wabasto and common on Mercedes of the era. If you come across a video of that, let me know!

    So with all of these all in one systems, they are designed to work with no outside source of air. My bright idea for inside for this one is to make a heater box hole cover that will have a cheap cable controlled fresh air vent in it and also pass the heater and ac hoses through it. Something I can make on the bench and the just bolt and seal up using the existing heater block mounting studs. Might be pretty clean!

    I have posted recently of having the AC bug while my car is apart for paint. This one appears to be small enough to maybe not even need to modify the tunnel and heat and ac and vents on front for center console. I refuse to put my heater box back after rebuilding in the past so heat/ac combo is for me. I did a test fit using their dimensions and it look like a winner. Narrow and short! Thoughts? They make a cable operated plenum too to move the air around. Check it out. Seems a better fit than a Hurricane.     Mine is absolutely shredded! I cannot put it back in the car unless it is under a cap, which I have done before…but a new sub 800 or so dash….life changing! 😂

    Anyone with dtech or their own version of a Hurricane box install have any info for me? I have read every post I can find on the system. I plan on using the box with the side exits for lines for smaller firewall exit holes. 1. It appears most have had to beat the tunnel down pretty good to fit? Is that on manuals and auto tunnels? 2. Does everyone use the plastic diverter on top to route hoses? On my measurements it looks like it will be difficult to get the hoses to come down for center vents? 3. Any complaints or problems over the years? Thanks!

    Had one hour off this morning before a doctors appointment and got the dash off. Another piece not taken off since 1974 for sure. Paint soon!!

    No!!! 😂 I’m about to send mine to paint so gonna pull the dash and give a fix a try with some flex seal paste I saw someone else use online. Worst case scenario it will be more solid to take the plastic cap I already have for it. I don’t want to take the glass out twice with fresh paint! Come on MVP. Don’t cost a grand! 😂😂

    Disassembling continues for paint. I replaced the front main seal and added an AC pully and notched the lower cover in hopes I have energy to add ac when I get the car back. Stuff everywhere!

    Damn…this may not be happening. $558 on top of all the AC crap I have to buy. Is there a cheaper alternative? This radiator keeps the car cool in hot ass Texas…but I can’t just buy another one.

    My 74tii is about to go on for paint. Spent today doing the front main seal and up grading to an AC pulley. I have a high capacity WN radiator already. Am I hosed and have to buy a different one now if I am going to add AC? Does this one interfere? Also…only been on a couple of years and only a hundred miles or so…paint bubbling on back of it! Boo!
