    Hey Jack,

     

    I am not sure what  level of quality you are looking for but I will be selling soon my complete interior  from my car. The seats both front and rear are in mint condition, all original to the car ( black vinyl) with less than 50K miles on them. I know the rear seats have had little or no use as I am the second owner of the car. I would prefer to sell them as a set but may be willing to brake them up for a local buyer.

     

    Not sure what your budget is for the purchase but thought I would throw it out there as I am not in a big hurry to sell them but easier for local guy to avoid the hefty shipping.

    Curious to find out if your cam shaft has any casting marks or #'s. I ask because I am trying to identify a cam myself for a possible purchase. The CO claims it is an Alpina piece but I have my doubts.

      My apologies as I have not checked this page for some time .... this unit is in mint condition, to  my knowledge it has never been used despite the wear shown in the bottom pic. I am the second owner of the car.( 23K mi-  72.)

       

      I am asking 120.00 for it or 130.00 shipped.

    Hey Toby,

     

    Thanks for taking the time to respond. 

     

    I came across the cam a few days ago when I bought some parts of the local guy. He does not have much on this, only an approx age, and he  "thinks"  it may have been from a track car. This guy used to race at Westwood here back in the day. (It has been closed for more that 30 years now).

     anyway I was hoping that the FAQ brain trust could offer up more but it looks like I may low ball this guy and roll the dice on this one. I will keep diggin' hopefully I can get some answers.

      Ahh, "wetwood"- now a suburban cul- de- sac...

       

      Yes, do see if you can get it for a fair price- it "looks" like

      the real deal, not that that means much, I guess.

       

      It my be a bit much for a street car but personally, I'd gamble a couple

      hundred on it, just on looks alone.

    Update: Added this pic but not much more to go on here! I have come a cross this cam shaft, I have no history on this other than it is back from the 80's. The number listed does not come up on any of the searches I have tried. I know its not much to go but I am hopeful someone has come across one similar. Any input would be much appreciated.....thx Mike

    for what it's worth, this site has provided me an endless supply of information and access to parts that in my view would not otherwise available. So I would add my 2cents to thank you for all that this site offers. I see little from my POV that needs to change ....call me old fashion I guess ....I still use a laptop, find the phone a PITA at times. Keep up the good work Steve, and again thanks for your hard work and commitment .

    I have this set the was taken apart cleaned and repainted I have the hardware as well IMG_0293.JPG.e4222ee0af2f0edbcf8f7e4831f81f55.JPG I have two other sets that are in need of cleaning as well.
