  1. Can uou measure thickness of shoe? I have a new BMW NK shoe.
  2. I share Tommys concerns. Have you tried removing the parking brake cable ends for trial fit? Further to Jeff's suggestion, try putting fhe shoes in the drum for fit. If all the parts are correct 320, it should work without mods.
  3. Good point. I forgot about that without the wrench in my hand. .
  4. Here you go. I think you will find normal crow is verysmall deviation.
  5. Just to confirm, the hex bit in teh strut rod is just to keep it from turning. The nut gets turned and torqued. Use a crow foot adapter on your torque wrench. I assume the car is on the groung?
  6. Are you sure it's lower than the rotor surface? I use a bit of anti sieze.
  7. I've never run into that. I think a clogged cap vent more likely. But anyway, I guess old one will do.
  8. I drizzle some anti-sieze on both sides while still warm after freeing.
  9. So why do you think the fluid was not going into the master?
  10. Nice. May not deal with rusted adjusters though.
  11. I was thinking NK for set screw. I think the whole shaft comes out with knob on yours.
  12. You may well have done so, but it was for the later style bucket/light assembly. This is the early style. Very different.
  13. Did it have a new cap? Maybe the vent was plugged. Don't forget to bleed clutch. Errr.....you do know that brake fluid is a great paint remover? For future reference, use a turkey baster to empty resevoir. Try some paint thinner to clean.
  14. Does it have a little set screw in the base? If. So, remove and unscrew knob.
  15. Yes, that works even better because you can load enough fluid to flush the whole system.
  16. How are you doing the two man? Pump 5 times, hold pressure, call DOWN, crack nipple (use clear tubing and glass bottle), fluid comes out, close nipple as flow slows to crawl, close nipple, call UP, repeat until no more bubbles coming downstream. watch for bubble going upstream. Monitor resevoir regularly. Start at back. i don't like vacuum versions. YMMV. I am still at a loss as to how teh air is getting in teh master to come up to resevoir. I would think if there was aproblem with teh grommets, you'd have a leak.
  17. Are you looking at 1600s on realoem? Do you need parts or new motor?
  18. Search for user https://www.bmw2002faq.com/profile/51433-schnellvintage/
  19. Were you getting the resevoir bubbles with old master? And yes, vacuum or pressure?
  20. One more time - are you interested in used?
