  1. "You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!"
  2. I'd still check the fuel pickup filter and see what the gas looks like in the tank. Ethanol doesnt age well.
  3. Wow. Don't forget to torque lower shock nuts on ground.
  4. One more thing - don't loosen hinges too much. Just enough for jack to move door with pressure.
  5. I used jack under the rear edge, tape measure. Loosen hinges, jack, tighten. Then sort out latch. What about the shims?
  6. If it's a ti, that changes the equation a bit. Does it have a serial number? Looks like the seller bought a drum of white paint. And is very pleased with the rear end.
  7. Adjuster bolts slacked off? Are they turning nicely?
  8. Compared to the alternatives? I sure wouldnt use the floor mounted original.
  9. What is battery voltage? And at starter? Age of battery?
  10. Have you checked voltage at the battery?
  11. Question is, does it need that? I've never gone big miles between valve jobs. I got the impression stock seats were hardened enough.
  12. What they said. I store three cars every winter. Full tank of Shell ethanol free (most important), Stabil and methyl hydrade gas line anti freeze. Seems to work. I don't know if m10 needs lead additive. I've not had valve problems, but I've read some cars do.
  13. Re above, check the entire system. What about those vents from C pillars to trunk edge?
  14. And the front cover? It needs to be done with the head!
  15. is the front cover getting cut too? current thinking is to reuse head bolts. Per Toby, is block still in car? mileage on motor? You're getting into scope creep territory.
  16. Hence my question about the source. Those studs need to bfe installed with sealant.
