    I'm a little dissapointed at the posts saying 80. I had a 73 Malaga four speed and hit 105-110 every day on my way to work. For those who live in the SF Bay Area, Broadway Burlingame, 280 S. to Fry's Electronics in Palo Alto in a little over 10 minutes. cmon people.

    So I don't have any pics of this just yet but some of you may remember about a year ago I put my 73 02 up here for FREE. I'm not sure but I think the person who took the car was from this site and I think their name was Chris. I was just hoping to find out what happened with the car. Was it restorable? Did you have to part it out. Just wanted to know. Devian

    OK, so it seems that if I stay in the bimmer world, its an E30. Its really a matter of pride when it comes down to it. All logic says go japanese. I just love BMW. Devian

    So I was wondering what everyone thought of the idea of getting a 320i. I'm likely to be in need of another car and am warry of getting another 02 because i'm in college and finances will not be that great. Is a 320i in good condition reliable at this point? Is this a car I should avoid given my financial circumstance? Any advice welcome.... Devian

    I agree, if it were a regular '02. However, it looks like the car is a genuine turbo, like DB says. That would be heresy!!!!! You guys may not remember the 02 that I gave away six months ago. It was only an 02. Not a Tii or a turbo, but sometimes a car needs to be rescued from the junk yard. If that was a real turbo and was modified to that from a shoddy condition, I say good form.

    My first car was a 73 malaga 02 4speed. I loved the car endlessly. I think that your kid is going to either be like me (a mobile nightmare) or not; regardless of the car they drive. My only stipulation would be not to give them an 02 in mint condition. Instead, give them one with potential and encourage them to fix it up. I wouldn't give a 16 year old a new car in mint condition. An 02 is quick and SAFE! What better car? Devian
