I aggree with polloelastico, its not that bad a job.
I have done it twice in 12 years (1st time to clean out core, 2nd time to get a frozen motor going - just like yours) With no AC you can have it out in under 1hr same for fitting. Follow the steps on the FAQ write up and its simple. If you do pull the heater box get the fan spining with your hand first, then get the air compressor to blow the fan around, lube it, more air to spin it fast. Hook a battery direct and I bet it will run. Could save $190 for a new fan. Beaner7102
