  2. Email me PM and I'll give you a phone number.
  3. I''m moving and I have a set on four wasted tires. Good shape just dirty from sittiing on the parts car. West Hills area in San Fernando Valley. I have the center caps in good shape too, but they're buried in a box right now. 13x5.5.
  4. BMW Peformance Tuning Delia would know of Phil Dermer and Motortech. He wasn't a reliable businessman and I lost two hundred bucks on an order never received back in 1974. However, Motortech did run '02s in IMSA RS and I guess SCCA in the East. Dermer wrote this in 1974, so it will be interesting to hear your comments on what he says here. I said I'd scan this one day for the 2002FAQ, so I have.

  6. "#3. The driver is very competent, knows that road well, and it was just a very unfortunate accident. Although I am sure he would admit, in retrospect, he may have made some different decisions. #4. His pain, physical, and emotional is great. He needs our compassion, not personal attacks. I'm sure he feels pretty stupid right now anyway." So these comments don't reveal anything about what happened?
  7. 1 Do you still have your 1802? 2 My usual response in seeing an 02 in an accident that was due to driver stupidity is to say he/she deserved it. I have no sympathy for a DUI driver hurt in a crash either. 3 The driver is incompetent, thinks he knows the road well and knows the limits of his car which is very evident he didn't this time. The accident was not unfortunate, but the result of stupid driving on a public road, a road well known for bringing driving stupidity to the forefront. 4 His pain is the price he pays for being stupid at the wheel on a public road. 5 If gravel, water or a deer was in the road the driver was still stupid for not leaving a margin of safety for those possibilities, which has been evident on many an 02 cruise that I've been on. 6 Do you think the readers of the Acorn think Mr. 02 deserves respect or a swift kick in the ass? I hope Mr. 02 writes a piece for the Acorn with his excuses. 7 pardon, forgive, justify, discharge, vindicate, apologize for, release, free, set free, overlook, exempt, mitigate, extenuate, palliate, rationalize, acquit, condone, reprieve, remit, absolve, exonerate, exculpate, clear of, shrive, grant absolution, pass over, look the other way, shrug off, give as an excuse, make excuses for, make allowances for, make apologies for, let off, let go, permit to leave, dispense with, grant remission, remit a penalty for, grant amnesty, blot out one's sins, expunge the record of, purge, provide with an alibi, plead ignorance, whitewash*, let off the hook*, let off easy*, let off scot-free*, wink at*, wipe the slate clean*, take the rap for*, alibi*. 8 At least we know that this dope is on the list, and as such brings shame to all of us. Sure are making a lot of assumptions based on very little ( zero ) facts don't ya think? But that's how you roll right Jay? Guilty til proven innocent ( as judged from the might soapbox ). Where the truth lies is never revealed on the faq, but covered up. Are you saying that the Acorn has libeled this Sunday driving 02er? Maybe the strut bolts sheared lik Dr. Tooth's 1802. At least Steve revealed what happened to him. This 02er and his driviing is a matter of public record now, so correct the record in public then if you know what happened, as the public record implies that the accident was the result of dangerous driving. Maybe you should order the CHP accident report and let us know what it says. I don't think the insurance company will say he was driving too slow. Like usual, we'll never know the truth here.

  10. http://www.goldeagle.com/brands/stabil/default.aspx STA-BIL® Ethanol Treatment helps remove water, protects against corrosion, and cleans fuel injectors, carburetors, and intake valves to keep the fuel system free of gum and varnish and deposits. Perfect for use in your everyday driving vehicle, such as your car, truck, SUV or mini-van, and also great for your small gasoline powered equipment -- lawnmowers, chainsaws, weed wackers, snow blowers, snowmobiles, etc. Recommended to be used at every fill up to keep your vehicle and equipment running smoothly year-round. For more information on Ethanol blended fuels, read our new white paper on Ethanol blended gasolines: White Paper on Ethanol Blended Gasolines. 11. With the oxygenated fuel here in Cali, I'm wondering if this would be useful. The fuel stabilizer is great. Any good, bad or ugly info? TIA.

  13. It seems that most cars have a missing category where the people didn't specify a model. Also, it's a list of registration, not model years even in the list by year. There seems to be some correlation between those registered and the non-operation cagegory. If one bought a car and didn't register it for a number of years it would be the reg year when operated on the road. Still interesting. Are there more than one 1600ti models in the UK? I couldn't pull up a Mclaren F1 no matter how I searched.
