  1. Hi Bill, You need to remove the cam gear to see the PN on the cam, It is usually engraved (if it is older) or painted on the front of the cam where the gear bolts to. Anthony
  2. I doubt it but I would need to know the pin diameter on SB Chev's and the big end diameter. For comparison the m10 / s14 combos are something close to this: Big End Diameter: 52 mm or 2.04724409" Small End diameter 22 mm = 0.866141732" These are not exact dimension they are approximate. You would also need to know big and small end thickness. Why not call Ireland?
  3. Ireland Engineering sells long rods for m10s in the 144mm length. They look very similar to Eagle's. Call Jeff Ireland, it will be tough to beat his price of $145 per on a set of custom rods. Anthony
  4. just see a white 2002 peaking out behind Smokey Yunicks Camaro and a Mustang. Any idea whose car this is? My thoughts are one of the Brecht or Cunningham 2002s.
  5. Definately NOT Alberta, the plate appears to say Massachusetts...
  6. Don't forget a calculator and some basic knowlegde of trig. Remember: SOH CAH TOA
  7. Maybe if you would register for an account and Log in you would see that function. Anthony See attached image of my daughter from my desktop.
  8. If these are forged, then why the billet b.s. Billet must be a popular buzzword for the uninformed! I think "billet" is a buzzword that was coined when the original group buy took place. They have been referred here as "billet" when they should be referenced as forged...again I appologize for any misinformation.
  9. Mea Culpa these are indeed forged. Hey Jeff so this must be your sample then? Anthony
  10. If so I think I have your sample axle. They sent it to me in my box. Anthony anaphe@gmail.com
  11. Don't be afraid to choose a topic that is taboo or not popular. When debating I used to enjoy taking the unpopular position as well.
  12. Stone you can call a candian dealer and order and pay on the phone and have them ship to you - I havce done this 2 x before with BMW parts that were only availble in the US ( no stock in canada). At first they are reluctant but usually do it. A
  13. Would love to know more, I bet it is closer to 400HP. I am going to build a 20b 3 rotor periferal port next time round. Anthony
  14. Alonso, You are getting a little out of my expertise... I question your choice in keeping the K-fish injection and the tii injectors. Personally I think you will spend a LOT more money making that work. The tii fuel injection is designed for a 2L motor and not for that much cam or displacement. You will need to have a custom cone built for the pump and I don't even know what that entails. Alonso, The tii pump can work but it will need some re-working to get it right. It depends if you want a motor that will idle fine but have some rich and lean spots along the way (lean at 5000+ rpms is bad) then don't sweat it. If you are trying to extract the last 20% of the motor then you will need some dyno time and some tweaking of the pump. Wes ingram in seattle can build you a custom linkage for your k-fischer which will provide some adjustability - the linkage looks a little crude and fragile but it will do the job. I ended up re-engineering the linkage on mine and it works great now. Let me know if you want some pictures. Regards,
  15. Ha ha this is very funny. My old and wise Greek grandmother told me that once. Someone had liberated my "papou's" underwear from the clothes line out back...he was furious and asked "Who would do such a thing"? To which she responded ..."Someone who needed them more then you" A
  16. Your extra large valves may cause some issues particularly with a high lift, long duration cam. Besides you make a valve too big and will become an obstruction.
  17. Check with DAPBMW I borrowed a mould from a friend and made a race skin.
  18. Yep for xmas last year I bought her a Prada bag - everytime she questions my spending I drop a hit about the bag....but for the most part we have an upspoken rule. We have separate account but have access to each one so it is transperant and once we pay ourselves, investments, house etc we are free to do whatever we want - I trust her and for the most part she trusts me She and I both know that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones Sevens, Rockin' Republics, Juicy, True Religon, Citizens, Prada... Ireland Engineering, Schrick, Hoosier, Hans it all works out in the wash.
  19. thats what im doing, trying to find a fuel safe seal to cap the filler tube in the trunk below the trunk board This is cool kind of like my race car. My race car has a fuel cell with an extension through the trunck and the filler neck is in the middle of the truck. Kind of cool.
  20. I will put my 2 cents in here. Having imported a number of cars into canada there is a steadfast rule. If the car doesn't have a sticker on the door confirming a manufacture (birthdate) date it cannot come in. That being said, every 02 with original doors I have ever seen has had one including my race car which is a 1970 and an early 68 mint shell (what were we thinking) that we cut up. I think that the dealer probably can manufacture the sticker for you I don't see why not, you can certainly have it reproduced by your local sticker / sign shop fairly easier and if the original is perforated you could perforate it yourself with an appropriate punch. If you surmise that your car was damaged en route to the dealer that might make sense but it would have to of been repaired once it was landed in the US as I don't think a stickerless car would make it into the country.
  21. I took pictures and studied 2 original 74s locally when I was repainting my car and this is what we ended up with. Anthony
  22. Use copper. Easiest to install, strongest, put lots of drops in to collect the water. This is what I am doing. My compressor is a 60 gal 12.5 CFM @ 100 PSI. http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=196066&stc=1 http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=196067&stc=1 http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=196068&stc=1 http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=196069&stc=1 http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=196070&stc=1
  23. I was thinking of painting my race car like the Mobel Europa car but now leaning towards a motorsport stripe inspired theme. http://douging.smugmug.com/photos/3590889-M.jpg Anthony
