Fiberglass or Carbon Fiber Doors

Hey all, I know the Group Buy for the hoods and trunks is going very well and I plan to join that project. I have contacted a very good local fabricator for creating 2002 doors to add to that weight loss idea. He has gotten back to me finally this week for some pricing.

As long as we can get 5 sets of either material, the price per set would be $700 for fiberglass or $1200 for Carbon Fiber. Is anyone interested? Let me know and I can start working with the guy on getting a set made to show the craftsmanship.

I can't wait to get a set of doors, hood, and trunk; that's got to be close to shaving 150 lbs off of the car!

Hey all,

Is anyone interested in this project? Please email me at Curtis@WTFmotorsports.net. I am working on getting this going again to get some door orders started soon! Now that my hood and trunk are on, I have the bug for more weightloss!

Guys, i'm thinking now of making fiberglass copies of my trunk, hood and maybe my doors. I'll be using my stock ones, but i'll be doing them for selling. And i can do the doors. If someone is interested i can do it like a stock door from in and outside, just like the picture from Cahsel.de website a few posts above.

I can do a set of doors for $550 shipped to anywhere in US.

Also i'll start reproducing 2002 Alpina recaro seat copies, from fiberglass again.

E-mail me if you're interested, and if more people will want set of doors, i can even lower a bit the price to $500 for a set.

The BMW 2002 tii VIN 2719550 was manufactured on July 3rd, 1973 and delivered the same day to the BMW dealer Zeiss & Schwärzel in Mannheim. The original colour was Golf, paint code 070.

Very interested! Any pictures of doors or your previous work?
I haven't done any doors yet, but if there will be interested i'll start them. Anyway here i have just one E30 Alpina air dam, the other fiberglass parts i've made are in my other garage where i'll go after 1-2 weeks. I'll take you a picture of the air dam. :)
