Creating a Google Map List of BMW 2002's (Please Add) Fixed!

I was looking at the forum for Opel GT's, when I discovered that they have a google map with the location of almost all of their members. My friend with a GT managed to find some locals he had never known about, and I saw the value of such a map. Please add yourself to the one I created, and lets see if we can help each other find others with a similar passion.

If you know of a good repair shop, please add that as well, just use a red marker instead.

Please be sure to read instructions before editing.

1) Just add a location marker where you live

2) Title it with your name

3) Under the description please put your car (Model Year, Color, Special Features)

4) Also add any skills you feel you have (Electrical, Motors, Body Work, etc)

Half as old as my first car and I wouldn't have it any other way.

There used to be somthing similer to this when i was in the triumph car club . they had a book that you could keep in the car with everyones address and phone number for when driving out and about , just in case you may need some help

this seems a good idea to me

***ATTN Steve Patterson***

Please try to place your placemark again. You accidentally, *I think*, edited the description of the map instead of creating a new pin on the map.

Stupid question number 1, how do I mark myself on the map?

First go to the BMW 2002 map via the link.

Then enter your address in the google search bar

When the placemark comes up, click on it to bring up a bubble if it is not open already.

You should see an option in the bubble that reads: 'Save to My Maps' ---Click That

Now there should be a drop-down menu that has BMW 2002 as an option, select that and click 'Save'

Now you can go to the BMW Map and edit your placemark with whatever info that you like!

Thanks Jay for keeping this up in my absence... it was lunch time.

P.S. the idea is from OPEL GT (Jay's forum), I just stole it.

Noted. Edited. Done.

No Worries Mate!

P.S. Its OpelGT.com - Opel GT Source is simply a supplier of GT parts
