i'm trying to get my 5th inspection done at the end of the month. I can't even drive it since I'm still getting strength back on my arm after the second surgery a few weeks back, so thats set things back a bit. The SMOG rep is taking his sweet-ass time trying to get back to me on the right catalytic converter too which is holding things up.

Is this for your car, Blunt?

If so, I have various used water necks in the box - if you can confirm via part number or picture, I'll send it n/c to you.

EDIT - ahhhh - it's for a customer. Never mind.

thank you but no, its for sean who is doing a weber conversion. im sure he would be fine with a good used piece though. i can hook you up with him for the sale if both of you are cool with that. ill contact him and see ok?

Yeah - the guys at LaJolla Indy told me to use that one (Ray?).

Plus - it's ported for all of the gauges you could want.

I used to have one. Sold it (rats). Wish I had it back.

I was under the impression the water neck from any m10 injected engine would work, although some have 2 sensor ports and some one? The one I have for my (eventual) conversion is from the 77 320i motor I picked up. It only has the two front outlets, no small rear outlet for the manifold. I haven't checked clearance yet. Realoem says 11531261738 is the part number, but production has ended and pelican didn't have an updated part linked.

With dual webers. If you look at a "stock" 2002, there is a line that comes off the back of the divider (can't remember where it goes, and I'm too lazy to go outside and look). On the Tii, I think it's ported off to the side, if at all. The one for the 2002 Ti is NLA and hard to find.

For the E30 318, that port is gone (from what I remember), and it is angled forward like Toby says. That gives plenty of clearance for the DCOE manifold and all.

I'm not sure about the E21 part, but I know that the E30 part comes highly recommended.

BMW Neue Klasse - a birth of a Sports Sedan

Unveiling of the Neue Klasse Unveiled in 1961, BMW 1500 sedan was a revolutionary concept at the outset of the '60s. No tail fins or chrome fountains. Instead, what you got was understated and elegant, in a modern sense, exciting to drive as nearly any sports car, and yet still comfortable for four.   The elegant little sedan was an instant sensation. In the 1500, BMW not only found the long-term solution to its dire business straits but, more importantly, created an entirely new

History of the BMW 2002 and the 02 Series

In 1966, BMW was practically unknown in the US unless you were a touring motorcycle enthusiast or had seen an Isetta given away on a quiz show.  BMW’s sales in the US that year were just 1253 cars.  Then BMW 1600-2 came to America’s shores, tripling US sales to 4564 the following year, boosted by favorable articles in the Buff Books. Car and Driver called it “the best $2500 sedan anywhere.”  Road & Track’s road test was equally enthusiastic.  Then, BMW took a cue from American manufacturers,

    The BMW 2002 Production Run

BMW 02 series are like the original Volkswagen Beetles in one way (besides both being German classic cars)—throughout their long production, they all essentially look alike—at least to the uninitiated:  small, boxy, rear-wheel drive, two-door sedan.  Aficionados know better.   Not only were there three other body styles—none, unfortunately, exported to the US—but there were some significant visual and mechanical changes over their eleven-year production run.   I’ve extracted t
