No problem... some duct tape and bailing wire, only German of course, an you're on the road. If that doesn't work, change the cap, points and condenser... piece of cake.

My bet is you jacked up the engine to replace an engine mount or drop the pan and the fire wall jumps forward and smacked your distributor?

Nope John, not even close....

The car was parked and got t-boned by someone running from the cops and lost control at a high rate of speed.

Pretty sickening. I had my car parked in long term storage with a cover and dock fenders-protectors - and the car still got sideswiped! Twelve years later I still feel bad about it. Hope no one was in the car at the time.

(I expected you to say that you wish you had not used so much seafoam and Kung Pow chicken!)
