engine and drivetrain Some pics of new beast mid build

Here are some pictures off my phone I took while prepping my new engine.

Specs are:

E12 Alpina Head Just been dipped, line bored for my schrick 316 cam and Hemi'd to fit the Mahle Domed 89.92mm pistons you can see in the box.

Engine has been dipped and then painted by my dad and now is at the shop getting bored for the pistons.

Look nice don't it??

I would call you sad but its a disease I have as well.

Sometimes I lie in bed at night and a loud car will go past about a mile away and I'll look over at the wife and she has her eyes open and will say "don't say it" and I will say "Subaru Impreza Turbo" or "V8" or "twin cam opel" and she just mouthes "Sad!!"

Ah wedded bliss!!

I can't deny its very sad but I can't help it.......

I'm just glad I'm not the only one. She get's a kick out of it when we're out with my cousin Matt, 'cause the two of us are constantly calling out the makes, models and options of cool cars we see.

My Grandfather could sit at his kitchen table and tell me almost every engine as it drove by the house. She (wife Rosee) asked me only once, where I got it from!
